I don't know you but I do agree with you when I had major surgery my brother and my sister was by my side and I text and talk to my friends on the phone.. after . and my sister had her baby and I didn't make it to the hospital because I wasn't able to make it so I see my niece after it's just real life people be busy

Werkinggurl you can deliberately destroy relationships with those close to by refusing to mature emotionally. Lack of self-awareness and understanding how your vibe/aura or temperament affects those around you, selfishness, being self-centered, not being an effective communicator (throwing tantrums, giving silent treatment, etc), ALL of these things are just a few ways you can self-sabotage. There are many other ways for sure, such as being a narcissist, gaslighting, or being accusatory, etc, but these are the few things I have experienced that have caused me to let someone go. By far the biggest two (in my opinion) is lacking self-awareness, and lacking effective communication. Also, if your husband is telling you these things, watch out. Like I said, I’ve let people in my life go because they refused to acknowledge how these things affected our relationship. You need to start looking inwardly. Also, ask your husband to elaborate more. YES, you can definitely self-sabotage.
