Thanks for this. I really enjoyed being introduced to Jung Yonghwa on Suchwita. He is a kick. I wondered what the band sounded like. They are really good. Liked all of their instrumentation. I usually don;'t go back on videos but I just had to go back and hear that screaming high note again. He is a rocker!

There are a few more live clips from this concert that you need to check out, especially Then Now and Forever which you'd already reacted to before, at least the studio live version. 99% is another banger and is from their latest album, so you can see how they've grown musically through the years but still kept their essence. And you're right that CNBLUE is at their very best live in concert. Jung Yong Hwa is marvellous at connecting with the audience and his energy is unbelievable, which translates to an equally insane energy from the audience. A full length concert can be anything from 2.5 hours to more than 3 hours, but it's an absolute thriller from start to finish and you won't want to sit down.

YongHwa's live is always beter than his CD, which is more poweful, more energy and shows variety proformance each time. Not because of his talent but also his enthusiasm on the music. Definitely worth to watch his lives.

They used to have another member (a guitarist) but he left the band in 2019 so they've been performing and touring with session musicians. If you're interested in watching a full concert, I recommend their 2023 concert @ Tokyo Garden Theater: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J_Wa71yNIqY.htmlsi=vBOc9X882nzxiER0 Thanks for the video!

Thanks for your reaction. Sharing a link to a live concert performance of one of their iconic songs, In My Head, their first song after their major debut in Japan. This song was written and composed by Yong Hwa back in 2011 when he was 22 yo. He had been writing most of their (indie) releases in Japan and was fighting to release his own compositions as title tracks in S. Korea during a time when it was uncommon among "idols" and his perseverance paid off in 2013 when CNBLUE released I'm Sorry. Thankfully, all their releases since then have been entirely self-penned by the members. You will find a very different CNBLUE in this live clip, something the general public in S. Korea has not really been exposed to, sadly, but hopefully that will change once CNBLUE starts performing in rock festivals this year. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--q49cDzmazg.htmlsi=6BiKLnwRDZzHRoka CNBLUE has a very diverse discography, mostly because Yonghwa likes to experiment. They can go hard rock, alt rock, soft and sweet ballad, disco, EDM... Yong Hwa even released a jazz-themed solo album in Japan in 2020. This guy eats and breathes music. The best way to sample their music is a full live concert (plenty uploaded in RU-vid, Between Us Live in Seoul might be a good one to start if you're interested) though be warned they are long - they frequently go over time, playing encore after encore until they literally get booted out of the concert hall. These concerts are a testament to their amazing musicality and crazy stamina.

There is 1 ex-member (LJH) who is forced to quit due to seungri 'burning sun' scandal, but what i see is the ex-member was truly a troublemaker right from the start, like i can see it from the gestures of the ex-member. Also the ex-member involved in insider trading and that labeled yonghwa with bad impression to society when the true fact is yonghwa never involved in any bad behaviors. Just because the ex-member bad behaviors, the remaining member becoming the victim, that's why they can't make it big all this time, because bad rumors spread and many believed without checking any fact. But i believed that whoever that try to stop yonghwa from reaching the top can never succeed, no matter how long and how hard it is yonghwa are destined to reach the top. As yonghwa said before "i will never let the band i created fall apart". CNBLUE FOREVER.

The real intention of yonghwa and remaining member solo activity is to build up interest in their band music. Especially yonghwa specifically said that he won't be participating in any movies project this year because he feels it's the time for him to focus on music. Please check out (jung yong hwa - brothers) the lyrics contains his feelings about cnblue member.

I am so happy you finally discovered how awesome they are at a live concert. If you found this awesome, it only getsbetter and more energetic as they perform further along the concert. The energy just builds and builds, and the armosphere becomes electric. Hope you react to one of their full concerts.

Thanks for this reaction video K-OG... very good assessment. You should check out a CNBLUE concert video (at least part of it) and see how great they are at pumping up the audience. The energy is incredible! Every time they perform a song live it is different just as you said. They change it up from the recorded version. As some folks already mentioned, there was a 4th member for about 10 years. He left due to a scandal I'm sure you have heard about. It was unfortunate for the rest of the group. He did have a really nice voice. I often wonder what would have happened if they replaced him with someone else. Jung Yong Hwa could use another lead singer so he can harmonize and do the lovely back ups and ad libs he used to do. They were already well established as a group though, so maybe adding a new person would not have worked out. Anyway, I enjoy your commentary, especially when you add insight into the Korean culture. Thanks!

Obviously, there is a mystery space on the stage and it’s another member who exited from cnblue. This case really hurt the band and all fans.
