@@janesweetjane23 it does. Every studio session has this person. I've literally seen pictures from Korean studios where there is some dude sitting in a chair playing on his phone. It's usually not actually a "random" guy though. It's usually an assistant, manager, friend, whatever who is told to sit in the chair and not make noise during the session. Sorry if the joke flew over your head.
Ok but it could be really scary if they played a song you haven't heard at all. I mean, everyone has different choice, so sometimes it happens that even if a song is really popular, some people haven't heard it yet. Some people just prefer to hear underrated songs from artists that aren't that well known, because they think their songs are better so this could be really scary for them.
So true, freestyling to a song you have never heard before is very hard because you have no idea what's coming next, I have tried it before and it was only possible for me to freestyle properly after listening to the song a few times or using a song that I have actually heard before
I'm not a dancer but i already know it would be very difficult for me to freestyle a song I've never heard. I listen to a lot of underrated artist in most genres i listen to. And pop isn't a genre i listen too...
I’m so late, but I’d recommend practicing some rap songs to dance to, pop music, and even ballads. There will be some hip hop and those you need some good moves for. Just when you do free style do not overthink on your next move. Flow with the music and have your body flow and connect on the next movement. If you watch Momo and her dancing performances you will see sharpness, precise movements, and great execution. Then if you watch Lisa, sharp, precise, yet smooth and flowy. Some ideas for how you probably want to dance like. If you want to do sharp, light, and making it look like you’re dancing with no problem, then keep your movements steady however you connect it very well but not messy, and you know your next move but you’re not trying to be on point. Some dancers like Rosé, Lia, Chaeyoung, Mina, and Dahyun. They do not give off a powerful vibe but will execute the dance moves well with a sort of grace. If you do want to have a strong aura, dance sharply, have fine expressions and look fierce (depends on the song you’re dancing to), and look at the judges. *What to incorporate and what they want to look for* Rap/hip hop Genres: Sexy, powerful, kinda like gangster, bold, and girl crush What to do: Have flowy connecting movements, keep movements sharp, execute it precisely or just make sure you add enough power to a certain move than a move that doesn’t need a lot of power. *TIP: Smile but with no teeth, look at them or glance down to up with a cold look in your eyes, then you can smile normally (still no teeth) and continue dancing. Have a cold look on your face but not emotionless, just search up pictures of Jennie and Yeji, both fierce looks. Also I don’t know about you but maybe do light makeup to enhance the your tiger like look. Smile frequently to spots you may think needs it, it will add some charisma and charm to the dance. At the end you can smile and show a tiny bit of teeth.* Pop/k-pop/American pop: Cute, energetic, bold (here too, depends on movement and song), cool/chill, and sexy (dep) What to do for K-pop songs: Girls Kpop, Make movements light (literally like you’re floating), smile smile smile!! (look natural though), good and sharp movements. Work on arm and foot movements. Guy Kpop, Steady, strong, and a little loose in some arm movements but have great footwork. American pop (Recommend: Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, it’s best for ones with good beats and songs that you can dance to and move to without it being or feeling weird): Ariana Grande songs can bring out a sexy side and help with flow, it’s steady so you don’t need to do anything overpowering, your facial expressions will be the one to determine that. Lady Gaga helps with her beats and different style (old songs), it can help with tutting moves, if done well. And how off some some sharpness. You do not have to absolutely oblige to these tips, nor follow them. Just some observations on what a judge and audience might look for. But most importantly, give it your all and smile. Be charming and bold when in front of the judges. If you are too scared to show a bit of charisma, add it to your dancing if you don’t like talking to them. They’ll say, “Even though they’re shy, they have some great dynamics in their dancing that captivated me.” You need to work on some wow factor if you don’t know how to set first impressions. If you have a great personality however bad charms, try figuring out why you can’t incorporate your personality into it. Then practice some facial movements and add some power to the moves. Sometimes movements can add into your aura and make them feel your energy. Take Dahyun and Sana from SIXTEEN, JYP was so interested in their personality, even though they were a little weird, especially Sana! 😂
Also, I have noticed that some judges don't really get that interested in you if you do a kpop cover, unless you're really good and have minor choreography changes to match your style.
I wanna audition this year but...I have no confidence and I get shy! But I'm learning how to get out of my comfort zone and have more confidence in myself! I'll get there one day 😅🥲
you are not a trainee, and that’s not how it works. First of all trainees are too busy for their phones and second of all you don’t choose the time you become a trainee.
I really wanna audition for YG but I live in the Netherlands and idk if they will come to the Netherlands (btw im 11 pls dont say that im too young for this its my dream being a K pop idol) Edit: Yes, I liked my own comment :)
if some one give the audition, so are they going to tell their's choice's song before audition Or on the audition/at the time or place? I want to know this so badly please tell me.
I remember Dani talking about Lisa's audition in Thailand he said she jumped down and was all up on the judges faces during the audition 😂 he said she was the opposite on and offstage, the swag was there so she beat 3999 contestants ♥️
I actually have been to one, they played a hip hop song and gave no warning so be prepared. It helps if you use levels!! I so recommend levels!! Facials and smile! Pose ! It’s only about 20-30 seconds, and you only dance once.
@@flrxwrbby I haven’t gotten my results back yet but it went very well! I was asked many additional questions, I’ll tell u when I get the results what happened
@@dulseteunji but being a singer in uk or us is way easier than being kpop singer in group, they seriously control everything, they control what you wear and what you eat, if you gain they let you starve because it's fastest diet
