CL is a smart woman

I think CL answers all of the questions very thoroughly and quite thoughtfully actually. The interviewer was a bit harsh during certain questions so that was quite unnerving. I just love my girls and truly feel badly for Dara because she is doing everything she can to stay awake. Been there!

With Dara blinking so many times and Bom looking down all the time, they looked like they were suppressing their urge to fall asleep.

Ummm they are being interviewed by Wall Street Journal of course the questions are gonna be serious! How old are most of you?!!! He's asking appropriate questions pertaining to their marketing strategy and how successful it's been for them globally. I thought the interview was very good and he never talked down to them and showed respect. Plus this is almost 3yrs old I'm sure everyone's English is exponentially better than it was then.

I think the dude interviewing them did a really good job. He kept the question coming, made eye contact, told some jokes. It was great.

CL speaks a lot on interviews because she is the leader, the spokesperson of the group. Thats her job, her responsibility. Learn some kpop group positions of the members and you'll realize that.

Dara is sending us a serious message using Morse code. Gawd I wished I studied Morse code now.

I love CL's voice...so much.

I think CL talks more than the others because they might be shy with their English and so they say let CL talk and we'll say very little because they're shy.

This interview is nice because of 2ne1, the gentleman interviewing them is trying to influence his audience into thinking that they are inauthentic but they are so pure and will not be broken~

I know other members like Dara and Bom can speak English as well as CL does but why can't I hear them speak some more than just a few words? I like CL but I wish CL could stop saying "you know", please ... it makes me feel nervous.

THis is the silliest interview. I love it!

2NE1 has to learn a lot of languages on top of new choreography, remembering old choreography, working out, eating right, dressing fashionably, and constantly sharing their private lives. I think CL did a great job speaking for the group as a whole, especially as the Leader, and hope that 2NE1 can feel more comfortable speaking English in the future. 2NE1 fighting!

Maybe wsj should interview YG himself instead and talk through translation cuz no one knows better about the business than he does. 2ne1 are celebrities, they have a image to build and they can't say that it's all about the money even though it's painfully obvious to everyone.

The interviewer was a bit hostile asking all those marketing strategy questions cl wasnt ready to answer she is just in her early 20's she cant give insightful answers the interviewer wants and given her first language is not english she did relatively well with the interview unlike some of the commenters here wishing bom to speak english more i dont think bom's english is sadly not that great at all despite the fact that she lived in the state more than a decade

I know CL is the leader but other members should support her to answer the questions. Cuz I can see sometimes she got stuck, trying to find a reasonable response or an eng word, and that's awkward. If they all know eng like somebody said, they should give a hand to each other.
