BTS members RM and SUGA were underground rappers before they signed with BTS. They were going to be a straght rap/hip hop group, but the project changed to a Hip Hop Idol group with singing and dancing as well. J-Hope was a street hip hop dancer, and he learned rap from RM and SUGA. JK also raps, but he's their main vocalist. Their core is hip hop and R&B, and they stay true to that. When I was new, the easiest way to figure out who was who for me, was by picking a specific thing out about that member. Like, I noticed that V has big ears (cutest ever), RM has the biggest dimples, etc. As others have said, you can't go by hair color. 😁😁💜💜💜

There are three rappers (RM, SUGA, and J-Hope) and four vocalists (Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook) in the group. They each have solo projects, too. They started out in 2013 as a hip-hop group and have grown into a multi-talented group that does multiple genres of music. Please keep digging into their discography... you won't be disappointed! 💜
