Morissette Amon and Darren Espanto have the same coach when they joined The Voice it was SARAH GERONIMO...maybe thats why they have the same technique..
As anyone who watches "The Voice" franchise knows, The coaches on "The Voice" are NOT voice teachers NONE not Sarah, Bamboo, Kelly Clarkson, Kellie Rowland, Adam Levine, Tom Jones, Gwen Stefani, heck in the states even Ceelo was once a coach. They don't teach the technique that produces the vocals of Morissette or Darren. These coaches on that reality show are more "personalities" than anything. They can suggest songs, or maybe things like stage presence, suggest a key change ,or holding a note longer or shorter. What they are talking about is TECHNIQUE the bread and butter of a singer. That show has neither the set up nor the time to produce that. The ONLY exception I think is Lea Salonga mainly because she has impeccable training from the best, so she is able to impart high level knowledge. Morissette and Darren have sighted other sources as assisting in that area. Much of Moris was her father and a small stint in vocalization at a program. Darren according to fans, has worked with a teacher in China, but Sarah as wonderful as she is in inspiring and supporting artists, cannot be credited with their vocal technique.
@@BoraViolin just want to add input, as a fan of darren, he met with a vocal teacher from china when he was there for the singer 2019 but that was just for that time. i mean he never had a vocal coach nor did any sort of training when he was a kid until now. he only met the vocal teacher from china once or twice when he was there... but if ever he comes back, they would, i think set up another session. the only 'training' darren ever had are the rehearsals before a show... but for his performances, after china, he applies whatever he learned from that vocal teacher.

They're just given few minutes to talk about how they gonna sing the song and there they go. Though the instruments are struggling and obviously mori keeps on mking signals, this duet is truly a blast. Amazing performance!👏👏👏

that was an impromptu number. they both sang chandelier in the wish bus so they were requested to sing it at the wish awards night without rehearsal. it only proves that they are really good singers.

Everyone touts Morrissette, but Darren's voice is much more powerful I tone, range and runs. If you listen closely, Morrisette has a tendency to "squeak" when she pushes those high notes. Darren however, is wickedly powerful and is voice is perfectly pitched every single time.

You know Filipino singers are the best in the world and secondly the English singers. There are more gifted singers in the Philippines 🇵🇭 the best of the best. They sing live not like American singers a lot of them lip sync, it’s a shame. Filipino are gifted people and they natural born talent given by GOD.
