Have to learn ksante for a tournament ont he weekend so also apprecaite this guide. Esspecialy since it isby person who is not an otp(atleast i think i didtn inform my self that much about him). But if you are looking for more toplane creators(not saying dont watch this channel just saying incase you still have time to watch stuff on youtube outside of this channel) go check out bwipo, he doesnt upload his own games ithink but there are some channels who upload his games from his stream i think (ormaybe it is his own channel). He explains his thought process quite well and has a lot of isnight into matchups and etc. Of course it isnt as well editet like here, but there are a lot of matchups you can learn from. For example i learned how to play nasus for ksante from him.
People do not like long videos their attention span is low also educational content is boring to watch for most people that is why majority of players are hardstuck
Throwing down a comment for the algorithm - your content is 10/10, my guy. Dare I say, the Coach Curtis of top lane?! Is there something to OCE that churns out beastly educational creators?
You've earned by subscription. I've recently just picked up K'Sante, and even though this is 6 months old. I've still learned a lot, not only when it comes to playing K'Sante but also micro/macro decisions in general. You're very good at articulating your thoughts and your voice is very soothing. Thank you so much!
Wonderful guide as always, the team fighting section really helped me figure what the heck I’m supposed to do on this overloaded champion lol Also: day 30 of begging Chippys for an Ornn guide
I'm surprised to hear that you think that K'Sante has no true hard matchups. I think that Garen is a practically impossible lane, you can't really fight him until you have full stoneplate. Gwen and Illaoi are also pretty bad, though you have more opportunity to kill them in the early game. I'm only masters with K'Sante, but I've heard challenger Garen and K'Sante players also say that Garen is an unplayable matchup. Also personally feel that Jax is K'Sante-favored, since it's just so hard for him to get onto you.
Question: Preferred narrative is short trades to freeze under turret for 6. Shield Bash helps to create this script. Demolish is blank in this script. Are you sure that Demolish is the ubiquitous choice? I get why you want it into Malphite... but against anyone who puts up a fight it feels blank until teamfight stage where Shield Bash helps to create wins (and scales your abilities) while Demo only helps IF you win.
48:44 "He can not get near my backline" , proceeds to r him straight into his backline doing baron xD, thx so much for this video, been playing ksante for a while now and have started to struggle in low diamond, this should get me right back on track!
Yo chippy. really nice content. just recently discovered your channel. could you explain why you used tp against that vayne? i feel like that tp didnt accomplish anything. you didnt really comment on it either in the video
Amazing guide. I was analyzing every champ and decided that im between ksante and ornn for a best in slot goto champ. If Kayn was a bit better in lane id probably pick him too but it's too easy to exploit him. Ksante seems to be very good at always being viable as both a splitpusher/1v1 potential as well as a supporting tank for team depending on situation.
You said in the third laning part Ksante vs Malphite, what if im vs Sion/Ornn they can just Oneshot the wave when they have some points in there main ability and Bamis maybe. How im supposed to take plates vs them do i also stack 2 waves and just go for the plate?
man appreciate the guide so much but I just have one note about the speeding up, the 2x while moving the cam legit made me dizzy, idk how you'd get around it because I know you gotta skip through some stuff but that wasn't fun
What an amazing video! I love your content. I have a question though. Lets say you are fighting a scaling tank meatball where it's not super important to kill them over and over in lane, but to focus on getting demolish down on their tower instead, in my case it was Cho 'Gath. They were simply able to clear nearly the entire wave with all 3 AOE spells before I could proc demolish. What is the best course of action for situations like that?
Building huge waves and try to remove him from tower when he blocks the wave, 54:23 is a mini example but if he's one shotting the wave, even cannon wave, you just look to attack the enemy jg or mid with your pressure, or you could even let wave come back and punish him if he's playing that way, depends on the game state for sure
Well you can say most of the part he is, since in teamfights you are the one who's gonna peel your tem and tank, but when you got opportunity to use your ult, you will be dealing damage
Great content, I dabble in top lane because I find it to be the most fun even though I main jungle and your content helps me try out new and interesting champs so keep it up please!
Great video, amazing channel, we really needed a content creator focused on toplane educational content. I have one question, and it's a rather silly one: my reaction time is pretty bad with everything and it especially shows when i play K'sante and i constantly fail at using W on stuff like Morde R, Blitz hook or even just big bursts of damage like an Akali R2. Is there a good way to train that that doesn't revolve taking a friend and pinning him into a custom game for 2+ hours? xD
This is K'Sante, a champion with 4,700 HP, 329 Armor, and 201 MR, has Unstoppable, a Shield, and goes over walls. Has Airborne, and the cooldown is only 1 second too. It costs 15 Mana. The W CD is even refreshed when he transforms. He has true damage on his passive. Then, when he stacks Armor and MR, he gets Ability Haste too, Ability Haste to his Q, and his spell casting speeds up. Then, he has an AD ratio, so his W…AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
@Coach Chippys. Can you explain how to play vs Urgot? You slot the matchup into easy tier, but u.gg says it's the hardest K'Sante counter with a 67% winrate into him at Emerald+.
2 questions about the item build. I saw a lot of people going gargoyle 2nd, is it really not viable? 2ndly, what is so bad about spirit visage on hi with ult you get healing and you habe shields anyway
conqueror is not bad at all you stack it so fast. From the one trick I have seen they take Conqueror into matchups where they will end up in an extended trade. Conqueror also feels good when you ult because of the bonus ad and healing and the bonus damage from the last stand when ulting. But play with what you are comfortable with.
Wish I saw this video before my loss streak today 🥲 Ive been looking for a tank top laner and this rlly helps understand him more. Understanding his item builds was 100% helpful. I’m hoping I can stick with him and not run back to cho 🤞🏾
