K'Sante has sadly only soured over time || Casual Champion Review 

I've said this before but if the lore wasn't dead i think it'd be awesome to pit K'sante against Naafiri. Two great hunters, who once almost fell to arrogance and became more humble! The Beast hunter who fights twisted gods agaisnt the ultimate Apex predator, another twisted god. It'd also put Naafiri somewhere! She hears of Nazumah, a land full of prey and great warriors, and decides to become the Apex there!

From an African standpoint (my RU-vid name isn’t my irl name) he does represent our idea traditional wear well but it’s like you said it’s that damn kill monger hair cut we can never get past. I don’t think I’ve actually every seen that hair cut in real life. Sometimes a simple fade is cool and more relatable. They could have explored more with armour cause wearing animals as armour was more common for an “African warrior”. His clothes are fine but more of “royal clothing”. Anyway great video 👍🏿

Honestly the voice actor for k’sante is so charismatic. I got to meet him at worlds 2022 and he was such a nice dude

Being black and seeing more diverse black hair was a godsend. Growing up and the only "black" hairstyles were either an afro or a buzz cut was damning. However, the twists that everyone is receiving is regressive at this point.

I'm 100% sure K'sante as a character is 100% inspired by one 2nd gen monster hunter "online" game that the was only available specifically on Japanese, Korean and Chinese, Taiwan and Macau (base on what I search) and that is Monster Hunter Frontier Z. K'sante's N'tofos are very similar to the Tonfas in Monster hunter frontier, the weapon's gimmick is being able to switch from long and short mode, either of this modes allow to switch hitboxes of the weapon. If you want to focus on the head go long mode, if you want to focus on the tail go short mode (also this is the only blunt weapon that can cut tails). I would describe this weapon as a combination of a charge blade, dual blades, and a blunt version of a insec glaive because this weapon is technically the 1ST aerial weapon in the series. The main game and it's servers have shutdown at Dec 2019, BUT you can still play it today since a community made private servers so you could play the game (and it's technically free). Mind you this game was never release in the west therefore the menu and stuff is in Japanese, but the community made an English patch and to be able to play this in English, it's not 100% complete but you won't have problems playing from start to finish. Mind you this game has LOTS OF CONTENT like 12 years worth of content. If anyone interested suggest you search guides on it on RU-vid.

I know she's been on a major K'Sante x Yone kick for a while, but it still gives me a little whiplash to see a creator from one fandom I like to appear in a completely different one

Tbh I'm kinda glad K'sante didn't end up marrying his partner. There's an impulse in queer media to marry off characters so you can have the Big Gay Wedding™ but in ongoing stories that cuts a character out of a lot of storylines and potential. Maybe that's a hot take, but it's this married lesbian's opinion

Like I said in the Jhin video, K’sante is a terrible way to make a unique champion in a class. A tank that plays like a bruiser that gets damage from tank stats was bound to be a disaster. Reminds me of the mini rework Lewis got back in 2014

Best thing about K’sante is his theme though. It’s so freaking good and fits him perfectly!

ksante is great representation, not just from a cultural and queer standpoint, but also because he brings well-needed divorcee representation

I think my opinion to k'sante has actually been the inverse. I hated him at first, but liked him so much more when I actually learned how to play him

K'sante is the nearest thing any lol player will be to a MH colab, that is all that matters about his design

I loved K'sante's personality when he launched, specially the fact that he is kinda neutral in the ongoing conflict in Shurima. However, I'm pretty sure that when Riot retakes his storyline (In a decade or so) in the new retcon, he'll probably have some conflict with Shurima, just to go full "Mabe one day Azir will be a fitting ruler" or some variation... but Xerath "no, extremist, completly iredimeble".

As a K'sante main i had some really bad experiences I still love the character even though i have never played monster hunter or his design inspirations but i just love how he plays. But the sheer amont of slurs ive been called is insane

I love k'sante, but I fucking hate how riot just says "Let's ruin another toplaner so everyone starts playing fucking Garen and Darius like monkeys!" and I say it because he has 46% winrate, while Twisted has 54% on toplane

I really really love the lore background paired with the overall review, and the specific type of review that you're providing. In my experience, it's extremely unique to games like this, and is super refreshing. This is my first one of these, so I don't know what your typical format is, but I think it would be cool if you also discussed some of the gameplay mechanics. Not necessarily that you read every ability word for word, but maybe the "flow" of combat, combos, or things of that nature. Damn as someone who’s been playing monster hunter since 3 ultimate that game idea sounds fun as hell. I didn’t even think about how he could’ve been that type of hunter, I always assumed they smashed lil nas x and some other ideas together to create him.

i am gonna be honest the second i read his Q was a yasuo q i instantly had this gut reaction hatred for the champ.

Personally I think it's really dumb for a hunter to wear any kind of armour. It feels really backwards for someone who has to track and chase monsters for long periods to wear heavy armour that would only slow them down. Plus the purpose of any kind armour would be lost against the beast he hunts, as they could simply just crush him. Disclaimer: I have never played any Monster Hunter and have no knowledge about African culture or fashion.

I just played this character for the first time yesterday. Went up against a Jax LOL Basicly, I couldnt farm and just decided to gank other lanes and we won because our teamfights were great. Love this champ already

Quaso'nte i agree with you k'sante is just.... too much. Has too many tools and can be a lil overwhelming. At least he broke the no shirt rule, and has a really charming personality. I just wish riot gave huim more than just music skins at this point. Also hell yea next week is ye olde skorner before his rework. Never before i would'e expected skarner of all champions to shoo away one of the popular kiddos such as kai 'sa

i love K'Sanes character its just the amount of charisma that he emits that i love so much about him, but sadly his gameplay is so bullshit that everyone hates his the gameplay also just got kinda boring over time but i still love him he is amazing

For clarification to Nicky and anyone who might see this, "dreads" themselves are not the problem with how black hair is represented dreads are a natural way that black hair will mat into. The main issue is that this diverse base for hair has only been shown in one style being the "killmonger cut". Hope this helps : )

Take your time on the High Noon reviews. Taking care of your health is really important, and I personally think that it's a good option financially too. I know that the Cass video costed a TON so I think everyone who is a real fan would rather you take care of your health and then release a high quality, high energy, comedic review like you always do rather than us feeling bad for you making it while you're sick because ultimately you can take a day off or two or five to get better. Remember that normal jobs give PTO, so even though RU-vid doesn't exactly do that you should still be able to have a few days to recover. Hope you see this and get well soon Nicky

Wanna say, its not just dreads that people are getting tired of. Its the short dreads that only cover the top of the head and are swept to one side.

When images and concepts K'Sante first started to float around and some people mentioned him being Monster Hunter esque, MH being one of the two contenders for my favorite video game franchise, I got so excited. Then I wasn't.

Only thing this champ needs is reduced scaling from armor and mr ( in a dmg reduction sense from STATS not abilities). Like crit on yone yas

I think what they could have done to lean more into a Monster Hunter asthetic is give him Rengar Passive but with resist and it visually upgrades his armour based on how far along the passive is

also, my discord server where I spend all my time have a soundboard thing. Which is K'sante's quote when you are ahead and get multikills. "watch them scurry like baby armadillos".

My only issue for his looks are his earings, theyre too big and his deadlocks are a bit too long. Outside of that his looks are good. As for his backstory, I hate the fact as he came out they already ended his character arc. Like, what the heck. Over all I like him and its sad to see him become the new Yasuo, or in other words, the default for the most heated champion in the game for league players.

Honestly, yeah damn. I'm a massive fan of Monster Hunter too, and that was a missed opportunity. I hope they revisit the idea in another future champion, the idea of Runeterran MH armor would be so cool...

There is Airborne🌪, and the cooldown is only 1️⃣ seconds, costs 1️⃣5️⃣ mana🧙‍♂️, W even resets cooldown when transformed💫, and passive deals fixed damage🗡, and then if you raise🥋 the room🥋, the more📈 you raise📈, the more📈 your skill accelerates⏰. This skill speed 🚀 becomes faster 📈 and then there is an attack power 🗡 coefficient, and W is the benefit - ugh 😱😱

Resting and avoiding exertion (both physical and cognitive) is the most important thing when you have the Virus, which, if you didn't know, depletes your immune cells. Exerting yourself increases the chances of developing LC quite a bit. We all appreciate your content, but your health comes first! A lot of people are sick all the time now. It's a bit depressing to see the new 'normal.' Hope you can recover soon.

These are always great. I will say, 6/10 feels a little positive on the gameplay end. Didn't really have much nice to say about his gameplay, certainly not enough in my mind to rate it as above-middle. I'm curious if that's because his all-out form is satisfying or if there was another reason?

11:35 that was a major mistake on their end, even a malphite would’ve killed them both considering you are full hp, a level and item up them both, the support is 3 levels behind, Yasuo was half hp and whiffed his knockup/ult.
