Nice first track day. I saw the issues with your brakes and that’s your pads for sure. Looks like you have EBC yellow’s they are atrocious on track. Get a proper track pad on and your good. The fuel level will bound all over when on track due to the slosh. When you start getting quicker you will find any less than 1/2 tank on hard corners you will fuel starve. Keep up the great content watched your whole build in the last two days 👍🏼
2 days!!! ha ha thats committed, thank you. Yeah the pads are defo the issue, their great on the road though, so its annoying. They will be changed before the car goes on track again, as will an oil cooler setup, the half rad struggled to keep it under control and I dont wanna fit a full size rad.
Thank you, it feels great on the Circuit, need to sort better brake pads and go again, build some confidence and then I can start to see what the cars capable of👍🏁🇯🇵
@@elliot438bcfcVTEC these yellowstuff pads are dead dusty anyway, and to be fair it's no massive deal as it's not used daily, so washing wheels off after each use isn't the end of the world
Ill check it out, others that have also been suggested are Carbotech or Carbontech, and Dixcel. Pretty disappointed with the EBC to be honest, not like I was even that hard on them really either
@@captainsvlog EBC Yellow stuff suck arse, I had them on my old FN1, they faded on a blast through country lanes. never again. Yeah, I've heard positive reviews on Dixcel too.
