K Team Karting is a small outdoor kart track in Kilrea. I had a fantastic time here at this place and i think its defiantly worth a long journey. The 2 karts i tried were in really good condition and the track itself is great fun.
The staff are awesome - After explaining that i was traveling the UK's kart tracks, he lets me try the 270cc kart after the first session. The boss also brought me a "refreshment bucket" free of charge, what a guy!
The track was wet to begin with but gradually became quite dry towards the end of the last session. In the 200cc kart i was pritty much flat out but not in the 270cc in the second sesh. I really enjoyed my time here and i'd come back if i was in the area again :) Thanks to K Team Karting.
Me & Rodger are currently touring the UK, visiting most of the amazing 140+ kart tracks we have here! We've started off in Northern Ireland and K Team Karting was the 7th track on our list.
