This means there’s no guarantee that a specific date will come available so it’s best to lock in the dates as soon as they’re posted.

Hi, from what I’ve found the consular officer can re-validate it at your interview. How far out you’re able to schedule your interview depends on the availability that the embassy opens on the calendars, so I really can’t say for sure. Sorry I couldn’t be more precise. Hope this helps you some.

First schedule medical because you must have it completed before you go to your interview. Confirm with hospital/clinic how long it will take for your medical results to be completed. Typically it’s a 2 week timeframe but make sure to ask do you can schedule your interview accordingly.

@@alloysiusdoris746 before scheduling your interview and your medical did the embassy send you an email with instructions to move forward with scheduling your interview? Sometimes people are able to schedule before receiving this letter but it appears your embassy is not as lenient. You’ll have to wait to get the letter from the embassy. Contact them to see if they have received your packet from NVC and when you can expect the letter.

Hi, for a k1 visa you usually directed by email (possibly regular mail) to schedule your own interview. Are you referring to that? Technically, unlike a spouse visa, there is no appointment letter for the fiancé visa. However, after you’ve scheduled the interview you can maybe take a copy of the confirmation. But you’ll definitely need to take the DS-160 confirmation page to the interview along with the other required documents.

Hi, no from my understanding you are to schedule the interview but all embassy processes and procedures are not the same. Since you already have a visa date, I suggest completing the DS160 now and paying your fees as this will have to be done before granted a visa.

I just receiver a email from nvc that miegeria is not processing any visa case at moment So if that case my 129 is still at mvc office So what next I got email the other day from citizenpath that nvc is no longer processing the 129 they sending to country where you are try to get visa

You may want to contact the embassy directly to confirm and to find out how long before they expect to process cases and what you should do in the meantime? Right now I email because of expire on passport so I email a copy of old and new passport am waiting for them to updated in system I haven’t hear from them They said that Nigeria is not processing interview at time and they send paperwork when it starting

Typically, the email lets them know their case is forwarded to the embassy. However, while at NVC you’ll need to pay your fee and complete form DS160. If the status is ready, it mean you’re ready for an interview. You’ll need to schedule it with the embassy. I suggest contacting your embassy as well to see if they have received your case from NVC and that it’s okay for you to schedule your interview and your medicals.
