So everyone the bolt that is not a typical honda bolt for the t-bracket is m12x1.75 thread pitch 2 3/8" long fits. The non threaded section of the bolt if you get one with no threads by the head cant be longer than 1 3/16" long or itll catch the threads. My next update when I fill the mounts I just received will include all this.
There would be a difference since the crv has 36mm axles (nut size) and ek has 32mm I believe rsx base is what you would use one side needs a spacer between the axle and hub. Not big at all a washer or 2 should work just make sure you have enough threads for the nut to catch.
Just took a short 7 min video of a update I'll be posting either tonight or tomorrow. Other than driving it around in my yard to move it it's been on the back burner. I actually k swapped the crv and that's partially why but stay tuned for a update
Theres alot of them honestly get on Google search 92-95 civic k series swap mounts and see what pops up to try Ebay but I found occasionally you can find them cheaper using Google. Should run you around 200 +/- 20 or 30
They do but it's more of a k24(lower) k20(upper) I believe(might be the other way around). My mounts for my white civic were not dual height and listed as k20/k24 and I did use them for both motors without issues. I just swapped in a k24a2 and a awd 6spd transmission a few days ago and no way could I use the upper hole the transfer case would hit the subframe.
Fine been driving it since shortly after this video was uploaded. Driven in all over 30 min trips 4 hr trips etc the only issue is which axles to use. I was told that the b series axle was useable but I had issues so I used a 02-06 crv axle added a small spacer and no more issues. And I'm not easy on any of my cars.
Hey sorry for the no reply but I didn't see this. But yes two k24a1/k20 swaps it's a fun car. I plan to build another one but both swaps boosted. Long term goal of 12-1400whp
