For anyone attempting the K series swap themselves, I highly recommend having both the RSX and RSX-S factory wiring diagrams on Adobe pdf. It will not only help you avoid mixing sensor plugs like Kenny said, but any issues you may encounter with your adapter harness.
Best video, I blew my map sensor and have been trying to figure out why for a while, I suspected it to be the problem but never got a good answer till you came along
I would like to see k20/k24 build parts list video, and everything you need to do from top to bottom. Yes the internet tells you, but I see different things
Awesome video. My first honda swap ever about 20 years ago was a H22 in a EG hatch and it took me 3 days to figure out I had the TPS and MAP swapped. Boy was it exciting after that.
I appreciate all the info, Kenny. This will definitely help with my build. Have you ever considered making a video or breakdown on how to swap a LSD differential into a b series transmission?
Very helpful video bro. I need a solution for my k24A3 on stock ecu and today my k24 engine is off and now its start for some seconds and turn off. Fuel pressure good. Injector and coils good. Injector pulse not good
The k24 and k20 crank sensors are actually different plugs. K20 harness will not plug into a k24 sensor and vise versa. You can pin in a k24 plug on the k20 harness but the pin out is different like you mentioned.
Oh shit ahmed from new england sent you his orange eg 😂 !! Man iv seen all of these happen very often or the pin out on the k24 crank sensor & the trans sensor. Good shit man glad you guys put this info out , alot of people lead others down the wrong road then people go from something very simple and end up with a rats nest. People on forums are pretty fucked up.
Sounds fuel related. Check if you can hear the pump prime when key turned but not crank could be fuel pump relay. My issue was I upgraded my fuel pump and one day my k24a somehow blew a hole in the little 2” long fuel line coming off the fuel pump. Car wouldn’t start and I thought it was sensor related for days until I said phuck it and looked in the tank. The fuel line that came with the pump was only rated at like 35psi so I upgraded the line.
