I was always surprised at the smoothness and effortless feel all K series motors have. 4 cylinder engines, if not done right, can be harsh and buzzy but these are mechanical yet refined.
This one also has had the standard K20z4 oil pump replaced with a JDM K20A pump from the FD2, because the standard one's balance shafts "steal" some ponnies. Without this mod, the engine would be even smooother, but also a bit more sluggish.
