when i was using it i guess this only works for steam games or games that use steam vr...cuz i tried to play roblox (roblox game that has vr integrated) and didnt work basically

U can use driver4vr, it works with ROBLOX.

what if i want to use it only for streaming my avatar with precise body movement? i got the v2 kinect... it is really precise... can even see if i have 1 or 2 or 5 fingers open (not 4 or 3 for some reason) tho i wanted to do a thing with it but i can't connect the kinect mocap program with the avatar vtubing stuff... at least not with the free programs i got on steam.... one of those wanted nuitcrack a program that you buy on a sketchy site just to make those two programs communicate

From personal experience, I only used the v1 kinect. And this kinect is the only version that hasn’t caused problems with K2VR. You *can* use it, but I am not too sure if it will track your fingers as I have not used that type of kinect.

can someone help i keep getting error E_NUI_INSUFFICIENTBANDWIDTH on kinect 2 vr i have the service running and i dont have an extension cord also my internet is way too bad for wireless quest 2

Hey, project lead for K2VR here, K2EX is NOT affected by EAC, it doesn't connect to VRChat directly in any way. it creates trackers in STEAMVR. Zoom lenses cause a fisheye effect and don't actually fix the problem. Setting the Kinect up higher is not a remedy for small playspaces, the FOV is different from the minimum tracking distance, because of the size and pitch of the dot projector not being able to focus past a certain distance.

idk why my trackers appears in the OTHER side what I mean is that the trackers appear backwards.

From my experience, try resetting or restarting either your pc or K2EX.

Are you able to use this with your phone camera? I only have a Xbox 360 kinect and I can't connect it to my pc.

Nope, there are many other FBT setups that require only a phone like Driver4VR, but you cant do this one with just a phone cam.

So far, my feet trackers end up at the knee for some reason in VRChat, is there a way to move them down?

Did you calibrate in K2EX? Did you also calibrate in VRC?

@@WanderersEcho I calibrated K2EX on three points, then went into VRC. Part of the problem was with WMR in that my height was set incorrectly, my head was to far from the feet. Once I got that dialed in, My feet nodes are still to high. Adjusting my in game height does better but then my model is floating in air.

True, but the EyeToy was mainly just a camera. Kinect was the first real body-tracking cam type thing.
