I’ve not pressed the button on the controller only the test button. The only difference i would think is if there is more power going through one than the other. But i can’t say the for sure.
Will that helping me I just have an issue yesterday , and try to figure what the problem is, but I can’t find the black cable as I have same k40 but different power supply shape
What I would do in that case is find the water sensor connected to your water line and follow the leads from that to you power supply. Sorry for the delay to answer but I just saw your message.
Since i don’t have that model i might not be much help but if you follow the water tube going from your laser to your water supply there should be a sensor some where along that tube but you also want to make sure there is no kink in the tubing. Also check your pump and make sure it’s working correctly. If the sensor doesn’t have enough water flow going through it then it will shut the laser down to protect it. If you don’t see any issue with the water then you might have a loose wire to where there’s no power getting to the laser. Wish i could be more help. Thanks for the question.
I’m not sure then. Maybe something plugging up the tube so the water isn’t flowing correctly. After i fixed that issue I’ve not had any other problems. I’m sure there could possibly be another safety switch that I’m not familiar with.
Check the hose that is in the back of your machine and there should be a sensor done where in the line. Also check your hose and make sure there are no kinks in it any where. If the house is free of kinks then it’s possible that the sensor is bad. If you by pass the sensor and it works then you know what the problem is.
@@MFouad-db2yi did you check the water sensor ? If you follow your after tube from your pump to your laser you should find it. If that’s gone bad your laser won’t fire. Other then that maybe your board is bad. Check to see if you can test fire it also.
If I hit the test button on the power supply and it fires does that mean the power supply is good? I am getting fire when I manually press the button but when I press from the controller nothing happens.
Sounds like a power issue. If you are talking about your laser no longer working then it’s possible when you added the air assist it caused the laser to possibly blow a fuse. Do a You Tube search on replacing a k40 fuse. Then disconnect the air assist and turn on the laser. Just a guess but the air assist might be pulling to much power or it has a short. If the fuse doesn’t resolve it possibly a mother board issue or power supply.
