@@necjerseyrailfan7500 the 5 bell isn’t as dominant on the mid 90’s. 80’s big bores are where it’s at for the AEM-7’s. Check out 921’s horn. Best K5 I’ve heard
The RS5T is the best freight horn imo. It brings a nostalgic feel. So does the 90s K5LA. I remember when Phase 4 F40PHs were still on the Hiawatha in the early 2000s, wearing that horn.
Pittsburgh Line Railfan Correct new k5la on chargers have back cap heating elements older k5las do not there for (IMO) they dont sound like Sc-44's horn
0:02 A P42DC leading Amtrak #11 thunders past Chehalis, WA after making an on-time departure from Tacoma. 0:43 A BNSF Z-Stack with the occasional ACe leader speeds by in the High Desert 1:56 Amtrak Northbound 777 Rounds the bend at Carlsbad Village running 30 Min late.
Mr.Baofeng Leslie Supertyfons are louder even though my personal favorite horn is the Micro Precision K3LA I must say that the Leslie's were tuned to be louder.
Pov: you have a custom lego EMD F40PH locomotive made from an F40PH-2 and F40PH-3D in the Amtrak phase III paint scheme with custom stickers and replaced pieces to make it more Amtrak:
I've never been bothered by anyone for blowing the horns, the police have asked to us to blow it for them lol. You just have to be smart where you blow them. We were out in the country with little traffic and no houses nearby.
Australia has stolen our American train horns! I want them to return our train horns to their rightful owners before we send in the United States Air Force to take them down
@womendrivebad raised letter means that it is brand new and plays exactly to what the chord is while 2011 and earlier are rarely playing correctly and are a bit sharp in tuning
