@kaarzan yeah, this was more than about just eating Mowgli. There are lots of other tasty animals to eat, and Kaa chooses to stalk a 10 year old boy and likes to taunt him before attempting to devour him.

@@lorenfranz3173 Sure but humans are a rare delicacy in the jungle. Mowgli also has no fur, antlers, horns, hooves, claws so he’d be especially easy for Kaa to ingest & digest. And yeah.. Kaa loves to play with his food. He can’t help being so cocky when he’s that much bigger than his prey lol. At least he gives Mowgli the tender hypnosis & coils as opposed to the angry kind he gave Bagheera. Also, humans have this reputation of being atop the food chain so it would inflate Kaa’s ego quite a bit to eat a mancub.
