Tiramakhan Traore conquered Kaabu which is modern day Guinea Bissau and establish Kaabu empire. After he conquered Kaabu, a lot of other tribes like Jolas, Serers, Manjakos, Balantas, Bainunkas other tribes mix with some of the mandinkas that made some of the those tribes absorbed in to mandinka culture which led them to forgot their original ethnicity and language.
