Wasseypur's music couldn't have been created in isolation, specifically without any context. Take any song and you'd be able to imagine its lyrical formation in the context of the film. The album finds its significance in the mould of the milieu of the film. Take the music out and the film would fall flat. Take the film out and the music would be insignificant clamour. For this kind of music to connect with the masses, it is very important that the film does well. Now that it's so recognised at a worldwide level, I hope its music gets the recognition too.

This movie is a gem of bollywood. Didn't see any better.
