This Is One of The Most Sensitive Movies I Have Seen In Recent History, Just Like Movie Past Lives It Handles Difficult Issue of Relationships With Utmost Love & Compassion. The Story Show How Devastating The Victorian Era’s Indian Penal Code 377 Really Was, It Criminalized Homosexuality, How This Inhumane Draconian Law Destroyed So Many Lives, Even Today We Are Facing The Repercussions of This 100 Years Old Colonial Law, Even After It Has Been Nullified By The Indian Supreme Court. The Story Is Full of Compassionate Emotions, Rarely Movies Make Me So Emotional, This Is Such A Movie, It Me Cry Like A River. The Acting of Mammootty Sir & Jyothika Is Like Pure Art, They Have Created A Magical Effect Onscreen While Handling The Complicated Emotions of The Movie. The Story Is About A Couple Matthew & Omana, A Devout Catholic Family Living In A Village In Kerala. They Have Been Married For 20 Years, Matthew Is Considered Very Respectable Person In The Community Due To His Progressive Attitude, They Have A Daughter Studying In College. Matthew Has Been Asked By The Ruling Political Party To Participate As Their Candidate In The Local Body Elections, He Agreed To Their Suggestion But His Life Turned Upside Down When The Next Day He Came To Know That Omana Has Filed A Petition In The Court Demanding Divorce Without Alimony, She Has Cited The Reason That Matthew Has Failed Her In Fulfilling Sexual Needs, He Is A Gay, He Had A Relationship With A Man Named Thankan & He Hides His Homosexuality. All The Village Community Members Were Shocked, Political Parties Tried To Use The Incident For Their Benefit. Matthew Initially Denied Omana’s Claim But His Body Language Suggested Otherwise. He Was Not Able To Understand Why Omana Want Courts To Involve In Their Personal Matter, The Story Confuses Us, As We See Matthew As A Honorable Man, Who Has Provided For His Family Without Fail, But When The Climax Is Revealed, We Are Bombarded With Extremely Sensitive Sides of Both Matthew & Omana, Their Last Conversation Cuts Deep In Our Heart, Extremely Emotional & Sensitive
