Wow, Kabhie Kabhie is a very beautiful movie with some outstanding dialogue delivery by Bachan Sahabh. I watched this movie with my first crush in 1979 when in grade 12. Having completed my High School I moved onto pursue my career in another region and few years after learnt that she was forced to marry another guy in the neighbouring village. I accepted it and moved on with life. Whenever I listen to this soulful song, Kabhie Kabhie mere dil mein khayal atta hae, my eyes are filled with tears and I get taken back to those yester years which had so many sweet moments and one that I have been remembering for over four decades. I comfort myself only to accept the truth of life.

the eng translation would be: sometimes i get these thoughts in my heart that if my life was spent in the shadows of ur hair than it would have been happier, this darkness in me that is my destiny could have been lost in the sight of your eyes, but that didn’t happen and now this life i have will be spent without you, without your sorrow without ur desire. now my life is spent in a way that i don’t require anyones support i have no destination or a place to go or any sense of direction, my life is simply trampling in darkness and i am lost in this darkness and will probably end up staying here “i know” my loved one but its just a thought

I lost both my grandparents last year. This song would always play on their radio as they went about the day doing chores in the house. I’m glad I found it in RU-vid because I could not remember the name. Brings back such peaceful happy memories ❤️

That Opening Voice of Amitabh reading out the poetic Lyrics is sounding Great as it's a captive one. What a magnificent composition by Khayyam and a wonderful rendition by Mukesh Jee! I would have heard it Thousand times since my age of 12. Still doing something to our heart. Are there so many Tasteless music illeterates here to put 'dislike' to this song? Oh' God!

Wow, super hit movie and this song is just unparalleled. Amitabh Ji aur Rakhee Ma'am have given some super hit movies and this is one of those. Waqt beet gaya lekin yaadein aaj bhie saaf hae, zakham aaj bhie tazza hae. I just miss those times. I wish we could turn back time.
