I'm guessing that two separate areas for men and women means there'll be no unwanted flirting between men and women - less tensions. As well, shy young women and men will relax a little more not having to deal with the opposite sex while having a meal.

In Uzbekistan wedding banquet. The food are served in advance in each table. So the guests won't wait too long for service.Well maybe it's Afghanistan tradition to serve while the guests are already there. I love Afghanistan ❤

See they invited the local Taliban commanders (folks with the guns at the table and combat vests with radios) - see they got free security outside :). The venue looks rather nice.
