This woman literally helped save that company with the Gift God gave her Rest in Peace Kasey you are truly a part of history and will never be forgotten!
@@steved6511 hell yes. Sadly we live in an era where Car ads don't have jingles... I miss the days of when Chevrolet was THE Heartbeat of America while Toyota gave people a feeling and Pontiac was building excitement everyday. Be we were left with the penultimate question... we were asking ourselves back then... Have we driven a Ford... Lately? Myself at age 20+ now says yes, since My parents has a pair of early 2010s Fords (2011 Escape and 2014 Fusion/Mondeo) and my favorite car is a German 80s Capri and my favorite truck was the L9000. Ford is still the best regardless of what's being thrown at them.
I know Ms. Cisyk ( Квітка Цісик,) has MANY fans, a large percentage Ukrainian. I just want to ad something; Ms. Cisyk's vocal talents are so beautifully displayed - even here, where it's 'just' a TV spot. Listen to how Ms. Cisyk beautifully modulates her voice - each verse is slightly different, and all building. He operatic training seven her so, so well, she even does a bit of what's known as 'melisma' - or, more simply 'note-bending' - something common, esp. Amongst soul and R & B singers. Done incorrectly (as many US artists are want to do), it ends up sounding like somebody trying to go desperately to the bathroom, but, as Ms. Cisyk does so beautifully, it shows the artist's vocal control, and power. I think this is a terrific piece, and I actually listen to it quite often. Thank for posting!
Very special voice and drive and charisma as it is. Is this part of Ford motor Co. commercial from back mid-late 90's? I think so. At any rate, Kvitka rules and Lord bless her soul!
@IVANKOVALE I am a dyed in the wool FORD guy, so it was nice to actually see this pretty lady singing one of my favorite songs. Sadly, I think this lady died a while ago. First On Race Day!!!
Hello Onekca, I was the TV producer of this video. I worked at the ad agency J. Walter Thompson when we shot this video for our client Ford Division. I was wondering did you know Kacey? How did you get a copy of it? Why do you have an interest in this video? Let me know. Thanks, Tom
+bramell77 Judging by the logo it is a ripped record from the air of Ukrainian TV channel "1 + 1". This piece was used in the television show in memory of Kvitka Kasey Cisyk .
Hello, Tom! We in Ukraine know Kacey as Kvitka Cisyk (her real name, you know)). She was born in USA in immigrants family but didn't forget her roots. Kvitka has recorded on her own costs 2 albums with Ukrainian folk songs and was working on the 3-rd one when she died. These 2 albums where prohibited in Soviet Ukraine. We didn't know about Kvitka anything untill 1992. And it was a great shock and impression to hear her wonderful voice with a great arrangements from the other side of the ocean! She was singing Ukrainian songs in the USA when here on her motherland Ukrainian language was depressed by russian. She became a soul of Ukrainian people)). I love you, Kvitka. RIP
Then you saw 1.40 that, her white pants were on a white background?)) It's bad, dude But seriously, I love this song and the spirit of America from the 90's. You were cool without left shit. Maybe I'm exaggerating, but then everything was more truthful. Right?
Hi @bramell77 ... my Dad is Bill Lane, the CD on Ford back in the day. Any chance you have original versions of spots/videos from this era. I’d love to surprise him with a compilation.
Hold up... The Mondeo was not an American Ford... so therefore you are right if it's an Aussie spec one or wrong if it's a European one, since they had a special retooling of Brian May's "Driven By You" as their corporate anthem.
