I was at the Prairie Home Companion show in Pasadena on 1/21 when she performed this. She said it was brand new song she wrote about her new fiance and that she had never played it live before. She seemed a little nervous about it until she started playing and singing and the crowd seemed to be a little stunned and it was complete silence. It was very beautiful moment! I don't think this song has even been played in the studio yet, much less recorded to be released as a single. Probably will be on her next album.
love it! but I love them all. its as if she's writing songs about my life and or personal thoughts that I was beginning to think nobody felt the same. wow! chills everytime
For anyone who wants to play this on guitar, here's how :) Capo 7th Fret Strum Patterns - 1) ↓ 2) ↓ ↓ ↓↑↓↑ Verse - C, Am, Em, Em Chorus - C, Am, Em, G Hope this helps out! If you get stuck or need any extra help, I just uploaded a video lesson for this on my channel :)
Micah Elizebeth my quick run through: capo 2nd fret E C#m G#m Bm (I'm not playing the full chords, letting the open g,b, & e strings ring) for the verses. The chorus starts E G#m A Bm...you should get the rest. Awesome song.
