Congrats to both ladies, what a great battle between the two, wonder what Adeleke would've run w/o that Mixed Relay Final already in her legs? Hope that's not going to be an issue for her in Paris! Wish Klaver could've dipped under 50s, hasn't looked as sharp outdoors since her World Indoor Silver Medal & impressive 50.10 PB back in Feb. S/O 18yr old Lurdes Gloria Manuel's 50.52 PB for 4th place & Laviai Nielsen's 50.71 PB performance following her Coach Tony Lester's unfortunate & traumatic cardiac arrest.

Ok, for kicks - here are my odds to win the Paris Olympics 400M Final . Paulino [DR]: 5:1 (16.67%) Kaczmarek [POL]: 6:1 (14.29%) Adeleke [IRL]: 6:1 (14.29%) Miller-Uibo [BAH]: 7:1 (12.5%) N. Pryce [JAM]: 7:1 (12.5%) Brit. Wilson [USA]: 8:1 (11.11%) McLaughlin-Levrone [USA]: 5:1 (16.67%) - - If she decides to run S. Williams [BDS]: 20:1 (4.76%) A. Anning [UK]: 30:1 (3.23%) I think the result is: Gold - Paulino - time 48.65 | Silver - Pryce - time 49.41 | Bronze - Adeleke - time 49.48 | 4. Kaczmarek - time 49.63 | 5. Brit. Wilson [USA] - time 49.68 | 6. Miller-Uibo [BAH ] - time 49.75 | 7.. S. Williams [ BDS] - time 49.88 | 8. A. Anning [UK] - time 49..92 Paulino is the most relaxed of the bunch. Doesn't get rattled nor anxious. Nerves will negatively impact the times... 400M is all about managing nerves so runners don't go out toooo fast tooo soon. Finalists will very likely have better results (times) in the Semis, than the finals. If Sidney M. runs, she is a close 2nd to Paulino. I think N. Pryce could be god-send to bettors... I think she still has reserves in her tank (from NCAAs)... She's a dark horse to win it all, and has nothing to lose. Also Britton Wilson is a quiet sleeper, who's looking to redeem herself. Kaczmarek could very well medal, IF she can manage her nerves better than her competitors. What are yours.

Mc-L will win if she decides to run, but I think she wont as means she races every day for 5 days straight doing both events. That 48.75 was into a 2+ m/s head wind. I ran US D1 400m including Natl championships - you are correct about staying relaxed but the reason why it makes u faster is about mechanical and biochemical (energetics) efficiency. In 400 which always becomes anaerobic, u cant waste any effort such as in 100m without consequences on time. Kazmarak has perfect mechanics and uses perfect race strategy - why shes so consistent

@alialibaba1886
@alialibaba1886 12 дней назад
Natalia miała w Rzymie jakieś przeziębienie/infekcję, stąd ten jej kryzys na ostatniej zmianie. A ruszyła szybko, bo miała dużą stratę do nadrobienia.
@ukaszMakowka-me8iv
@ukaszMakowka-me8iv 12 дней назад
@@alialibaba1886 Natalia na pierwszej zmianie uzyskała by taką przewagę że pozostałe dziewczyny zmieniały by "jak po sznurku", nie było by obiegania po trzecim torze i przekazywania pałeczki na szóstym torze. Natalia nawet z przeziębieniem pobiegła by 49,5 z bloków a Kinga miała czas 51,54 to różnica 15 metrów.
@alialibaba1886
@alialibaba1886 12 дней назад
@ukaszMakowka-me8iv
@ukaszMakowka-me8iv 12 дней назад
@alialibaba1886
@alialibaba1886 11 дней назад

Not exactly. Natalia Kaczmarek has not lost to Lieke Klaver for two years. This period would have been even longer, but at the World Athletics Championships in Eugene she had stomach problems (probably food poisoning) . Natalia can be a factor for medals in Paris, so as Kaver but both would need to have the run of their lives to beat Paulino. And no, Sydney McLaughlin WILL NOT CONTEST THE 400 FLAT in Paris. Mu can be in the mix but she is inconsistent. Maybe Adeleke too.

@JP-fd4vf
@JP-fd4vf 13 дней назад
Klaver is not a gold medal contender. She will need to knock at least 1 second off her PB to win (or perhaps to even medal). As I see it, the gold will be decided between Paulino, Adeleke, Miller Uibo (if back to form) and perhaps Kaczmarek. Adeleke was training through this tournament (no taper) so will be significantly quicker in Paris.
