Small note that it isn't her literal head, that ended up in the Lifestream with Sephiroth during the Nibelhiem incident, the "head" in the box is more just a collection of Jenova's cells
If the reunion theory is true then wouldn’t even the little cells on the ground one day come together to reform JENOVA?, and there are many SOLDIERS that died who basically have JENOVA cells injected into them. People keep on saying Sephiroth has control over JENOVA cells but I believe she is still alive, within her cells maybe or within the Life Stream since Sephiroth fell into it with her head. I think in someway or form Sephiroth is basically doing what JENOVA wants, hell he didn’t go stupid insane till he was right in front of JENOVA, she is a alive throughout the entire series and beyond from what I can tell.
@@reasonablekinda2269 I'm pretty sure both those points are acknowledged within the movie, Geostigma is straight up confirmed to be caused by exposure to Jenova's DNA in the Lifestream, most likely happening when Meteor was stopped, and the reunion theory seems manifest itself through Kadaj's control over the kids afflicted with the stigma, and again when Sephiroth mentions how those that died to it were causing potentially irreversible damage to the Lifestream upon death, because he wasn't letting Jenova reform and using her spreading DNA to effectively "choke" the planet's life cycle
Reasonable kinda well duh lol, Cloud is alive isn’t he? Cloud has Jenova cells in him. So pretty much as long as Cloud is alive the reunion theory will always be
@@reasonablekinda2269 Jenova will always be alive whether she's forced into the lifestream by Sephiroth or "killed" by Cloud and the AVALANCHE crew or not. Because of this, I have a theory that she's actually an Eternal from Doctor Who. We never actually know what alien species she's *actually* a part of. But we *do* know that both Jenova *and* Sephiroth were falsely claiming to be Cetra because of the false information Sephiroth got from Shinra at their mansion in Nibelheim. But, whether or not she *is* an Eternal, one thing we know for sure is that she *is* immortal.
@@SensationalSpidey25 and then (between being Zack's friend and this) he and his comic relief bois dropped plate #7 like utter tools, and Tseng showed no remorse over it, like a psychopath :( broke my heart
If you read the companion piece, he went through so much crap between the game and now. Though he was visibly disturbed when he looked at the Turks' bloody identification cards.
@@kiraxbara456blitz6 Yes, true. That would be the literal translation of what he says in Japanese: "Mokuteki wa nanda", however, his Japanese voice also has that exact quiet rage, like "okay, straight to the point, cut the crap" tone of voice.
I love how when Kadaj is talking to Rufus,he`s all polite yet there`s a none-too-subtle undertone of contempt for the man responsible for his "mother" being reduced to a science project and ultimately a box of cells.
I gotta admit for all the fucked-up shit JENOVA,Sephiroth and their Remnants do I kinda feel bad for them and due to my knowledge of The Games I can understand their and Midgar Edge`s hatred of the Shin-Ra Electric Power Company.
it was all hojo's fault to as what eventually happened to jenova, and all 3 of these youngsters belive hojo's lie about jenova being their father sephiroth's mom
brian blessing they don’t consider Sephiroth their father, they are part Sephiroth but like actually a part of him, they do consider Cloud their brother.
@@reasonablekinda2269 Fun Fact: Kyrie in Remake was a friend of Kadaj in the Slums before he was reborn as the crazy Oedipus-complexed Remnant gangleader we know and love!
Anarcha Media my understanding of it was that he took the form of her friend to trick her? I don’t think Kadaj was ever a real person in that sense, he was the will of Sephiroth manifest which I find more dangerous and scary since if it was some random person made into a Sephiroth clone or remnant then it would seem less alien and more a human experiment since FF7 has a lot of super soldiers cause of them. But my knowledge of it is brief and only from the book which was written for Advent Children so I don’t know how it’s gonna be in the remake.
Screenwriter: "Okay so we've got this scene where Kadaj is talking about his plan with a former bad guy from the games." Animators: "Yeah we can make it look cool I guess, but at the end of the day it's just a talking scene--" Composers: "WE GOT THIS! EPIC PIANO MUSIC ACTIVATE!"
When i was in high school in 2006, a classmate brought this movie to share with the class. I didn't know there were movies that looked like this. I fell in love with the visuals and the music. Thanks Clint.
I really feel like Kadaj's VA was trying his hardest to work with the lip syncing more than anyone else while also emoting next to Sephiroth. Everyone else just sounds so bored and robotic. Part of which can be blamed on direction, but his VA REALLY put his back into it to make it work.
Agreed. Both the English and japanese VA's are really good with Kadaj. The English VA did an interview on yt about a year ago talking about it and said they made him do multiple takes with every single line
Out of all three brothers Yazoo, looks more like Serphroith Kadaj, Has Serphroith personality and cunning/smart. Loz, has Serphroith strength But I actually like Kadaj in the movie over cloud to be honest.
the one who stole the show is cloud with his whining and his dull girlfriend while it would be much more interesting if they would show relationships between inhuman brothers, how they grow together, there they lived, how they made living, how they explored the world, how they decided to movew to their dream and create the new world there they would fit
What if all the victims of cvd19, mandatory vaxx/jabs, third world war, nwo, transhumanism agenda, tribulation so forth and so on, are meant to bring about enough spiritual energy when planet Nibiru colides with earth. Square Enix knows something, after all they have an obvious fixation with the world's end, they are illuminati. You don't have to take me seriously though.
Terrance H. Alas, no. The Rufus here is wheelchair bound with Geostigma. I’m sure the badass Rufus in the remake could go toe-to-toe with Kadaj, but two years is a long time.
I'd give Rufus more credit due to a couple of reasons: He fought Cloud (Albeit, while Cloud was early in his adventure) one on one despite assuming he was a first class SOLDIER which I doubt he'd do if he didn't think he stood a chance. This isn't even farfetched because Rufus having geostigma proves he has Jenova cells in him which would give him similar strength to someone in SOLDIER and places his capabilities beyond the Turks so Kadaj defeating them isn't relative to Rufus.
There was a lot of chaos at Square after Nojima left due to creative differences with the production and marketing team , the plot evolved from a short to an anime to a film to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Game, the syncing tech at the studio doing the dubbing was outdated and imperfect, they had to rush production because otherwise the child voice actors would outgrow their roles which indeed, by the time "Complete" was being dubbed they had so Denzel and Marlene had to be recast!(The new VAs did do a serviceable job sounding like the originals, however),Nomura had never directed a feature film before and wasn`t exactly a social butterfly. With that said, I strongly disagree with the notion that the film was "pretty-looking fanservice" without substance. The Film touched on universal themes of depression, PTSD, failure, fear of abandonment, inferiority, family, abuse, neglect, control, loss of control, dependence, repression, possession, disassociation, disease, alienation, the disastrous consequences of greed on the environment(Also a theme of the Game),poverty and parentification of children who`ve lost their biological parents.
@@PK-ow1kj No,Kadaj is a boy. However, like Sephiroth and the other Remnants he is a manifestation of the extraterrestrial Calamity/false Ancient JENOVA whom they regard as their "mother" even though the entity is technically a hermaphroditic cellular parasite that just favours females as vessels. Also, JENOVA is an allegory for the reptilian part of the human brain that acts on raw instincts and consumes or destroys everything in its path hence those under JENOVA`s control having reptilian green slitted flecks in their eyes.
I know Kadaj is supposed to be insane, evil, skilled, and strong villain but he looks so young and cute. Rufus should ask him if he wants a PB&J sandwich with milk and cookies!
Rufus is like Albus Dumbledore (from Harry Potter), and The Doctor (from Doctor Who). He's so damn clever and has the knowledge to outwit his enemies and hide all his cards until he's ready to play them (so to speak). I don't like that Cloud refused Rufus' offer to "rebuild Shinra" and to help them stop Kadaj's gang (which is pretty much just three young adults who are Sephiroth remnants), but I respect why Cloud did it: he still doesn't trust Shinra and I guess Cloud could tell that Rufus was lying when he said that they found nothing when they went to the Northern Cave. To be honest, *I* wouldn't stand for his bullshit either if I were Cloud (considering what he went through throughout the original game and Crisis Core).
Jenova has no feeling as a superior being, all Kadaj can offer is value, a being that’ll go the extra mile and be cool with it after, jenova is surrounded by the privileged and entitled individuals. Being different is key.
It wouldn't really make sense in my opinion, the Remnants weren't "born" until just before the movie started based on the opening scene of the movie, where once we get the footage of what happened we see them form in the black mist of the Northern Crater
that badass moment where kedaj says "but sir surly you had noticed" evil grin and his eyes turn green and kneels ^__^ and there it is. the reason why im obsessed with final fantasy because he always finds a way to return isn't that right? sephiroth? >:) former commander of the solder corp of the shinra corporation and one of rufus strongest warriors until he betrayed his oath in crisis corp because he learned the truth that he was the son of jenova
He is not the real son of jenova, but of lucrécia, he has just been injected with jenova "cells", "genes". He therefore has genes from Jenova but and his biological son of Lucrécia in reality even if he thinks he is definitely the son of Jenova.
Imagine having a sexy ass family. Sephiroth’s brothers are all attractive. It’s scary to be honest, would love to see how much the looks improved with all of them in the Remake of FF7
You know,I've been practicing voice acting and my friends help me voice act this scene. Since i have a naturally higher pitched voice I almost have Kadajs voice down. My friends have deeper voices so they voice Rufus for me xD
I love the fact that kadaj technically doesnt even know what sephiroth is and yet its like an instinct that his body knows hes apart of sephiroth if that makes any sense
That what makes his character look iconic, I know it's annoying to see his hair cover the half of his face but it's actually kinda cool don't you think?
for god sake why dont hollywood make movie similar to this its the best anime movie i seen i have in in dvd and have the game. Its so entertaining and badass
+CreditR01 it does portray cloud and sephiroth well. And Rufus. And the 3 twins were pretty good. And the soundtrack is fantastic. But yeah other then that the movies pretty meh
How many white haired anime boys are there even?! JESUS FUCK!! Seriously, if they all came together, pretty sure they'd out number humankind as a whole.
The film, final fantasy Advent Children, is very beautiful, the e could see about 19 times and the truth is, I get tired of watching the movie. Because the movie is full of a lot of Action and much more. Cloud has to face all sorts of things along the way. And his friends help him a lot.. Everybody helps Cloud. That's why this movie is one of the best you've ever seen. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂:-D.
Check this out! If you guys knew better tho, you'd know that if it wasn't Kadaj it would be Rufus becoming Sephiroth.. think about it. Take all the time you need
Got to see this in theaters, knowing what actually happens and the FF7 lore makes it more enjoyable, and my parents liked it too despite having little to no knowledge on the lore. (That I was glad to inform them of after the movie)
