I'm not that mad at the 2nd drop cause that's a hard catch, your running full speed crossing paths with another receiver and that ball looked like it could go to either person. I'm sure he was distracted by how close him and his teammate could've been to colliding.
He had a bad game, he was a big factor why the chiefs won the superbowl with his TD and his punt return, he’s gonna turn it around, besides he just came back from surgery and was iffy to play in that game
On the 3rd one, why is no one complaining that the ball was thrown behind him? KT running possibly not full speed but still a good speed from left to right, then has to plant to slow down to reach back for a pass thrown behind him. I see only the 1st one a real drop, the other two were bad play design and a throw that he tried to adjust to but just didn't make a catch he usually would or maybe he simply didn't pick up the ball as JUST BEFORE the ball is arriving, he looks to his left to see if he is in open space, then brings his eyes back to the ball only to see it is behind him.
Can’t blame him at all for the second one. If anything more like mahomes fault for throwing it in between the 2 of them hoping one of them would catch it
the second one is obviously on mahomes but i'd argue mahomes shares some of the blame for the interception as well. it was a well thrown ball, but a high risk play regardless because tony was being covered by 2 defenders, one of whom was sitting in zone coverage right in the trajectory the ball was thrown. that detail may evade the casual viewer but ideally a quarterback isn't going to want to make that throw. i suspect mahomes was under pressure, got rid of the ball earlier than he would have liked, and it was just unfortunately tipped by his own receiver. if he waited for tony to make literally 1 more step then brian branch wouldn't have been able to make that interception.
@@Oh_deer777I just noticed he had 83 wide open on that play. The guy who picked it maybe was covering him before the ball was thrown but I don’t know because it was a decent distance away.
@@Oh_deer777it’s the NFL, guys aren’t always wide open. He hit him perfectly in stride and Toney missed it. Perfect throw. Second one I don’t blame Toney, but the third one 90% on Toney, yes slightly behind but NFL receivers are expected to make that catch.
Those aren’t even close to being caught. Some athletes admitted they were on drugs during competition. I’m not saying he was, but I’m 64 years old and haven’t touched a football in decades and I could have caught a couple of those
As a bears fan the giants fans sounds mad he got a ring and he was 1 of the reason he got a ring now he have 1 bad game outta his whole career now it’s the whole world against him y’all weird
Ummm no you obviously don't know giants fans we were happy as hell he stopped the eagles our most hated rivals learn football before speaking on us lol we beat y'all ass last year too
@@jordancarney4384 okay what that mean I’m talking about giants fans now🤔😭he been off y’all team why are y’all even still speaking on him cause y’all haters😆💯and mad he got a ring without yall
@@Weezyfromdaraq we couldn't care less about his participation ring we super happy he got it cuz that means the eagles didn't. Darren Waller and Tre Hawkins for an injury prone wannable rapper utility player... I love it. The bears haven't even been goods since the Buddy Ryan days so hop off pal
Y’all definitely feel some type of way every giant fan under here and the giants haven’t been relevant since Eli😭💯and Chicago better then the giants this year😮💨get it together 🤡
TONEY a VEGAS go to boy? 3 passes dropped on 3rd downs maybe leading to scores? we all know the $ had to be on the chiefs vegas would have went broke on a chiefs win!!
i don't get why y'all are so angry, i'm not trying to defend him or anything, but it was only one bad game, it's not like he didn't make it to the superbowl and have a pretty solid season with the chiefs
also let's be honest, the first one should've been an easy catch, but the other two looked kinda hard to catch, the second drop was low, and the third catch was a little behind him
@@cantguard_gabe89 it doesn't matter if its a little behind him he gets paid millions of dollars to catch a football if he cant make a slight adjustment to a ball then he should be benched that ball was very catchable
It's time for the Chiefs to get their shit together and release Kadaruis Toney now. I'm just really waiting on the news to come soon to hear that the Chiefs have released Kadaruis Toney. I don't want to see him in a Chiefs uniform ever again. I hate Kadaruis Toney. He's a loser machine to cost the Chiefs games left and right
Chiefs are trash y'all just get carried by the refs. Oh wait remember the bills game? The one where Patrick mahomes cried to the refs. Chiefs are literally crybabys.
Not in stride, when you're running full speed and have to slow down twist and adjust to the ball in these short routes it makes it really hard to track and catch the ball all 3 of these were bad throws, 1st one was alright, good placement but just a tiny bit late he still should've caught it but the last to were horrid, lions defense had clamps on Mahomes and pressured tf out him
mahomes shares some of the blame for the interception because it was a very dangerous throw. it's easy to say that the ball was on target but a receiver is never going to catch every pass and there was a defender playing man, and a defender sitting in zone right behind the receiver; it's basically a perfect recipe for an interception). in this particular play mahomes should have waited for tony to make 1-2 steps to make a safe throw but likely was under too much pressure to wait. the second pass was mahomes making a bad throw. the third pass was all on tony. so based on these 3 drops i'd say mahomes is responsible for 50%, tony the other 50%.
I mean, the last ball was a terrible pass on Mahomes' part. The first ball was terrible timing on Mahomes' part, the receivers shouldn't be getting a ball their way when they're that close on a crossing route. The int should've been caught, but maybe we don't need to throw a laser at someone from 15yds away lol.
As a Giant fan, yeah I couldn't help but laugh and enjoy that the Chiefs lost. But, Toney is about to have a monster game next week and will go on to have a decent season where he contributes to another long Chiefs playoff run. Bank on it.
He just has bad technique with catching. You don’t catch a pass above your waist with your pinky’s touching-you catch it with your thumbs and pointer fingers touching.
Hilarious that he deleted his social media after this game ....AND THEN creates his twitter account AGAIN to bash the giants ....and proceeded to delete it AGAIN .......COW@RD!
Hi Chiefs fan here, so um one of these teams are going to the super bowl, Hold on, back up, not so fast Detroit lol no your not going but congratulations on your week one win and think God for the drops.
