Kaela treats Biboo as an equal. She knows she can and will do it, and she'll get the good memories of it getting. She just has less expectation for the others, and understand some won't be willing to invest all that time to get it. I understand she's sad the clip didn't tell they got it together.

When Biboo ask "Did you miss me?" Kaela said "I miss grindstone". It's not about the person, it's about the moment of togetherness

I can see her struggle. the misunderstanding that could happen. it's funny how when she gives a lot of thing to someone, some people say "Please let them get it by themself, you are ruining their experience". and then when she taught them the experience of getting one, some people say "Why didn't u just give her right away?"

it's like when you do part of the group assignment but people in your group say you did nothing as a meme and you go along with it 'cause it's funny. but suddelny people from outside of the group start repeating it without knowing the context and they end up thinking that you really did nothing, it feels kinda bad

There was also the context that this was a short hardcore server, where they had a limited amount of lives, she had already told Hajime to stay alive, Kaela had already taken Haachama to the nether, and felt responsibility for Haachama's death, as well as feeling sad that she could no longer get revived, it affected her to the point that she refused to go with Kiara to a Bastion because of how dangerous they are, and she would not be responsible for anyone else. So it was a surprise that Kaela did go back to the nether with Hajime, but she made sure she was totally prepared that time and guided Hajime through the 'orange juice' So yes, Kaela helped Hajime get the netherite armor carefully guiding her through the nether, and providing her own diamonds for the templates, and yes she provides a lot of guidance and assistance to Hajime, and even sold her a totem for cheap But in doing all of that, Hajime survived to the very end. With Biboo, the sever is very different, there was no pressure to survive, and as Kaela says, she didn't need to just give the things to Biboo as they went together to collect them, and the reality is, when Kaela is giving gifts of items to other Holomem, it is because she isn't having those collabs with them, so I would say that Biboo came out with something more valuable. Honestly I would like to see Kaela and Hajime collab more after this, have Kaela give Hajime the Biboo treatment by taking her out and training her, have her get her own wings, and turn her into a sweaty minecraft player

Ah, very understandable. It's tough because many jokes that are misleading at face value really are funny when the context is understood. Part of the humor stems from the fact that we know it's not entirely true. I guess we just have to be careful and not overdo it.

Kaela is a bit hard on Biboo because her belief in her is so high. Kaela wants to challenge her to do her best. She knows that Biboo is capable of greatness possibly even surpassing herself. She also knows that Bijou is a determined gamer who is willing to take the heat and persevere through frustration and difficulty in order to accomplish a goal. When it comes to more casual or new players like Hajime, Kaela wants them to not become discouraged and helps them along to keep things fun for them and not frustrating. Kaela treats Bijou the way she does because she loves her dearly. Its just a different way of expressing her love.

Well, I love that she managed to be open and communicate with the JP members during the Minecraft Hardcore event. She rarely communicated with JP members due to language barriers and this Minecraft event was a great opportunity for her. Her interactions with JP members are funny and wholesome. I just hope people don't take the jokes about it too seriously and misunderstand her by comparing her relationship with others. Her chemistry with the other members are great, and I hope she can feel more free to communicate with other members/people in the future.

100% what I feel about all those clips ever since the clip with Hajime. Clips can create misunderstandings without any context given if taken as face value. Not to mention, all these "mother and daughter with Hajime being the whole 2nd pampered child" is really overused at this point. Even with grindstone clips, it will be 90% filled with comments being “oh look mom and daughter!!” this or that. Some clippers do that as well with their video title. But of course, end of the day I understand that its a joke but then its kind of painting this narrative that is not entirely the truth. People don't really consider how the our oshi feels and all these haha funny jokes memes can go too far. Kronii's subway thing was something similar and even she had to address it.

If I think about it, I've often seen clip watchers who don't know the context at all, I know some of them don't have time to watch it in full for various reasons, but most of them accept what they see as fact, not a joke, and misinformation occurs

Something I have been seeing on some clips is the way the clips show something funny but then the editor goes out of the way to provide context right after the funny moment. Those people should always receive all the likes and shares to reinforce that behavior. Show the funny but also show the context and become the more trusted clipper. Like OP you showed the Ollie moment but you could have also shown the moment Kaela referred to for a ribbon on top of an already great informative clip.

i know kaela treats people almost equally, but for think its the hajimya who got special treatment, i think its the opposite... Kaela doesn't give any material she grinds, but for biboo, she gives her the most precious stuff that can't be grinded , that is "time" and her "knowledge". Its like kaela teach her oldest daughter to have her legacy, and i think its the most special treatment kaela can give

From an outside perspective it seems like Kaela and Biboo have a found family relationship. I love how because of Hololive those two met each other when it's unlikely they would have ever met otherwise. They are one of my favorite pairings to watch in Hololive as a whole, and I find the meme of Biboo's vs Hajimyan's treatment hysterical. IMO the reason for the difference in treatment is Kaela very much likes to troll other members, especially the ones she's closest too. She can go all out in teasing Biboo as they go on virtual adventures, but the language barrier between Kaela and JP girls prevents her from full-force trolling so she appears 'nicer.' I hope Kaela doesn't continue to worry about this, as it should be pretty obvious that Biboo really enjoys streaming with Kaela. And personally I'm still holding out hope for a mega stream with Korone, Koyori, Kaela, and Biboo sometime in the future XD

I always read into Kaela and Bijou's relationship as something more like master and student. When people ask for elytras from Kaela, she's fine with giving them that shortcut if they don't wanna screw around with hunting for one, because exploring that area is a pain. She recognizes Bijou is built different and would not have nearly as many problems as most would.Essentially, she's not just going to hand Bijou things because something that might be difficult for others, would just be laziness for Bijou. Hajime was basically a lost little child. She doesn't speak a lot of English, and Kaela doesn't speak a lot of Japanese, so the teaching method has to be different anyway. Holding Hajime's hand and double and triple checking she has enough fire walking potions and calmly leading her into lava has to play out that way because otherwise Hajime would've taken one potion and probably died. It's not that Kaela doesn't care, it's that she cares very deeply. She's a teacher at heart, and she recognizes differences in her students.

Seems like she's just uncomfortable with the notion that she treats some of her friends "worse" than others. Most of the comments down here don't seem to really grasp that and are just flipping the problem by saying "BIBOO IS JUST SPECIAL". You can treat different friends differently without it being "worse" or them being "special".
