Before Abyss Heralds were even first leaked. I noticed a few more similarities. Kaeya will always teleport behind the enemy before the final slash of his combo, also his elemental burst has crystals flying around like when Cryo mages try to get thier shield back.

Kaeya's lore has to be one of the most speculated ones, possibly more sought after than the current archons. I have a feeling he and albedo will have the biggest parts to play when we're set for Khaenri'ah

I think that Kaeya is part of the Royal family in Khaenri'ah. Meaning he's a prince in a way. Hence the "Ruler of Supernatural beings". Not to mention that in the German myth "Der Ring des Nibelungen", Alberich was a dwarf who became King of the Underworld. Also Kaeya is the "last hope" because he is probably the only Khaenri'ahn who doesn't have the curse of immortality. He ages normally when he grew up with Diluc. Kaeya is very likely to be based on Hagen, the son of King Alberich. Hagen wears an eyepatch and is cunning. In the Norse version of the myth, Hagen is called Hogni and he wields the Dainsleif sword.

Kaeya has actually been confirmed to be from Khaenri'ah in-game: If you look at his character story 4 and the one titled "vision", it literally says in PLAIN TEXT that Kaeya is a "spy from Khaenri'ah", details how his father came from Khaenri'ah and ditched Kaeya in Mondstadt, some "ancient" mission Kaeya was sent on, how he was Khaenri'ah's "last hope", how Kaeya has had to hide his heritage for his entire life, and even when he came clean to Diluc about being from Khaenri'ah and stuff, since that's the real reason they're so distant. Plus, this cryo abyss lector theory is pretty cool considering how in his character story "vision", him using the cryo element is described to be his "true self". I mean hey, I've got no idea how Kaeya is from Khaenri'ah since it hasn't existed for 500 years and his father dropped him off in Mondstadt about a decade ago, but that's for future in-game lore ig. With the alternate timeline theory PLUS the traveller appearing in the game's current-day era while the traveller's twin appeared in Khaenri'ah though-- Oh bruh. I'm gonna stop right there before I write an entire essay but I think you get when I'm trying to say. Probably similar to the Ei/Makoto timeloop theory or something if you catch my drift, but I don't wanna sound too far-fetched. I've never seen anyone talk about this so I just thought i'd put it out there. I didn't even know such an important lore point was hidden right there till recently, so there you go :D

I always felt that something was weird about Kaeya. When I first met him in the game, I was excited because he was blue which is my favorite color. But then he started talking and I was like something's weird about this guy. He talks like a sly fox that already knows everything. But I still main him because I like his attack style lol

Kaeya has too many sus things to be a normal person: - All of the domain doors have his constellation on it (peacock) - He teleports like an abyss mage on his last consecutive attack - His normal attack is called "Ceremonial" instead of "Favonious", unlike every other Knight of Favonious - His talent "Glacial Heart" used to be called "Heart of the Abyss" - His burst looks like a cryo abyss mage's when their shield is gone - One of his cons gives him a shield during his ult, just like a cryo abyss mage

At least in the English version, Kaeya's second constellation and Childe's 1st phase theme song are both called "The Never-Ending Performance". Could be a coincidence, but I don't think it is, especially with all the evidence here.

Maybe Kaeya's own dad pushed him into the abyss as a child because abyssal energy is able to stop the progression of the celestial curse. Though only those who weren't that badly transformed yet, that's why the abyss still have their mental capacity while hilichurls are damaged beyond cure. That could also mean that perhaps as s child he was already skilled with the sword

Also to add onto Kaeya’s last name- lore that was released in 2.8/2.9 showed that Kaeya’s clan were the regents of Khaenri’ah itself.

When you listen to Mona's scrying on Kaeya in her voiceovers, she says "He believes that he has made a clean break with his past" which talks about when Kaeya confronted Diluc that he's a spy sent by Khaenri'ah. But then Mona continues with "But one day fate will catch up with him. And when it does, he will have a major decision to make." which is a really great foreshadowing and imho I think what she means by this is when Khaenri'ah a.k.a the Abyss Order will launch an attack on Mondstadt (or probably in Celestia but Abyss Order will still have to go through Mondstadt since Mondstadt *IS* the gateway to Celestia) and that he will either have to choose whether to side with the Abyss Order - his people - and rebel against the Heavenly Principles or protect the Nation and the people in it who had taken him in and basically became his second home. Well that's just my opinion anyway.

He has so much lore behind him, I honestly wonder how much more further or darker his and Khaenriah's lore is going to get throughout the game. It makes me wonder if he'd actually somewhat betray Mondstadt and it's people. This is what makes him so interesting and the reason as to why I keep him on the team still.

Who came back to this video after playing the "Caribert" Story Quest in Genshin Impact?

I find it pretty interesting how the name Kaeya can be interpreted to mean “Divine Leader” or something of the sorts.

I've theorized before that Kaeya is the prince of Khaenri'ah and may one day get an "updated" 5-star version or just a royal/Khaenri'ah skin, but him being an abyss lector and becoming a boss like Childe unfortunately makes more sense gameplay wise.

in one of the world quests you of sumeru you also find out kaeya's father is the ruler of abyss, and you save his kid, playing as your own sibling (you see that it was all a dream and you were playing as your sibling in the end of the quest), and we actually never saw what happened to ,,carribert'' after he was cured by that sus medicine and ,,the sinner''s blessing. it may be community reaching, but so far everything adds up to kaeya being ,,carribert'' and being a prince of the abyss cured from khaenriah's curse. also his eyepatch could be him gauging his own eye out after he removed hilichurl mask and seeing himself the way he was

Some people are losing trust or liking in him because he might turn out to be evil, but I will forever love him. Not only is he underrated, but actually one of the best written characters in my opinion. There's just so much mystery going on. And watching these theories actually makes him more badass than before.

There's another thing that intrigues me about Kaeya. His cons holds the theme of "eyes that see everything", and that might be a reference to the fact he has connections all over Teyvat. But, he can teleport and Bennett describes him as an "ominiscent" older brother, like ??? That's a very weird way of describing someone lol Perhaps he can teleport like the Lectors too, opening portals and such, and that's why he can see everything from the shadows.

I'm surprised you forgot to mention that 3 icicles in his Burst (or 4 at C6) are actually letters U in f-ing abyss script. You may notice same letters on Hilichurlian decorations. It stands for UNU and means 'one' in Hilichurlian. It is described as being "a holy word that embodies the Hilichurls' concept of gods and the origin of life."

This was genuinely one of the most entertaining videos regarding possible lore for genshin. A lot of videos like this are just people talking and stating facts which is only interesting to a certain extent. The visuals along with the audio kept the video interesting and actually fun to watch. I love hearing theories as much as the next person but always dread how boring the delivery is when given the information, but at the end of this video I was surprised to see that I actually sat through the entire video. To sum it up, I love the format of your video because it was very engaging and entertaining while sharing information about theories and possible lore

Kaeya and Khan'riah are the 2 reasons why I'm still interested in this game. Every time there's a new archon quest, I just like creating new lores in my head and how it all connects to him.

Just to remind that in the archon quest "Song of the Dragon and Freedom" we meet Kaeya at the good hunter, which tells to us that he was suspicious of the attack and remained in the city while everyone else was fighting, intercepting a group of Abyss Order infiltrators and bested them. He learned from them that they are united under a single leader. Is Kaeya a curator of this group... This explains why he does`nt fight with hilichurls attacking the city I remember that in temple of the 4 winds we seen an abyss mage walks to Kaeya, but he does`nt seems to fight him. And there immediately appears Diluc. So we don`t even know where this story goes. (Is anyone knows what abyss mage says "Gohus Chiso Vonph"? Or remember any other cases of Kaeya facing abyss order?)

This makes so much sense. When the Abyss Mages are reviving they have specific attacks that resemble some of the Abyss Heralds attacks. Electro shoots out lightning orbs, pyro erupts, but Cryo, Cryo summons ice shards that circle around them. Just. Like. Kaeya's. Burst.

Kaeya is such an interesting character and I would consider it a glaring flaw in the story if Hoyoverse doesn't expand on his connection to Khaenriah. All signs point to him being some kind of important figure in Khaenriah, potentially the prince and rightful ruler of the abyss as the abyss is basically Khaenriah. My theory is that he is much older than we think. I'm talking like 500 years. Based on this character story in his profile: " "This is your chance. You are our last hope." Kaeya's father squeezed his son's lean shoulders as he spoke, seemingly looking right through Kaeya to someplace far beyond. On the other side of the horizon sat their distant homeland of Khaenri'ah. Kaeya would never forget the look of both hope and hatred in his father's eyes as he uttered those words." This implies Kaeya was sent to Mondstadt to figure out how to save Khaenriah from disaster but we know that Khaenriah was destroyed 500 years ago and the people were cursed into monsters. So how is it possible that Kaeyas father is alive 500 years after, not taken over by the curse, to be able to send his son to Mondstadt? Unless, this character story was from 500 years ago when Khaenriah was on the brink of destruction and Kaeya was either stuck in time, like Aether was, as a child and reappeared near Dawn Winery where Crepus adopted him. Aether himself reappeared in Mondstadt 500 years later (we guess) without having any recollection of what happened, how truly old he was, who he really is, how much time has passed and how powerful he is. As he progresses through the story, he is slowly regaining his memories. Its not outlandish to assume that also happened to Kaeya. I know that Hoyoverse won't go with this route though because unless a character is an archon, Lumine, Aether, Dainslief, the unknown god or potentially demonic Paimon, they don't have any significant connection to the main story and they serve as filler so we don't get bored waiting for the story to progress. I hope they surprise me though because Kaeya is one of the few characters in this game, that aren't archons who were involved in the destruction of Khaenriah, where I see something deeper than just surface-level information.

To be precise, most chars from Mond are the most unexplored and mysterious of them all. Especially Kaeya, Jean and Lisa. Kaeya is def related to Khanriah, Jean might be related to Vanessa and Lisa is a former Grand Mage whose knowledge is unfathomable. Not to mention Alice, Varka and Albedo as well. I really have a hunch that Mond's chars will play a huge part at the end.

I’ve been wondering for a long time, how old is Kaeya? Diluc’s dad adopted him at a probably young age, can he de-age his human form? How old was he when Khaenriah was destroyed? Is his vision a glass ball? Probably not, there’s a backstory for it. How did a Khaenrian get a vision? A gift from the gods? Instead of a lector, I remember him as the Khaenrian prince, something about his constellations.

Till 4.1, the game basically confirms half of the theory. Kaeya's last name - Alberich is indeed "ruler of supernatual beings" bcus the founder of the abyss had the same last name. I remember Dainsleif said that Kaeya is a pure blood Khaerian or smth simaliar, so yes, a distant relative of Dain, if you will. I'm sure Kaeya's hangout event does contain lore but I haven't played it so idk

Can we talk about Childe for a sec? I main him and since Ekanomiya was released I have a lot of questions. Childes true name is Ajax, wich is related to ancient greece like Ekanomiya is. Also the type of weapons he creates from water in his stance are of a type that we don’t really see around commonly in the game. Not even in the enemies and monsters hands. BUT. If you search around Ekanomiya you can find ancient petrified weapons, especially spears, and one hand daggers/swords. Exactly the type of weapons Childe creates from his vision when he’s fighting, alternating between spear and swords. Big brain time. Teucer also is a greek name

if kae doesn't get the big-ass role he deserves in act 8, I'll be mad. there are so many times in the game where I've wished they'd add kaeya, but they never do. we NEED more kaeya lore asap, people disregard him just bc hes a 4* started character but hes one of the characters with the most complex lore. i honestly hope we someday when theres a quest abt khaenriah, get to know more about kaeya and he turns out being a spy from the abyss as well as childe and they work together as the villains of the story
