⁠⁠@@ProdG315humanity has been threatened by a species that seeks their death/destruction. Ever since an event from their childhood, the protagonist has been dead set on joining the team that fights this species and wants to rid the world of them. Interestingly, one day they find that they have the power to turn INTO one of these monsters. Humanity is caught off guard by the emergence of this “good” monster since all of the ones before have been hostile toward humans, NOT toward their own species. They are even more surprised to find out that one of their own is this “good” monster and that a human could even have the ability to turn into one. Are they truly human? Not only that, but they come to learn that there are “intelligent monsters”, who can possibly hide amongst the human population or even control the other “less intelligent” monsters. The protagonist proves what side they’re on and gains the trust of their fellow humans and becomes a powerful weapon in their fight. Which of the two was I describing? Oh, and the Vice Captain is basically Captain Levi.
