Maybe it is the only story of Kafka with a positive outcome, where everything is beautiful and clear. Thank you Vashik Armenikus!

You're welcome Ani jan. Kafka was an interesting man. In his stories he is dark, in real life he seems like light and positive guy :)

Can you please make video on how you take notes from your readings ?

Wonderful story. Thank you for sharing this! Do you have a favourite work written by Kafka? I've only read The Metamorphosis, but I must admit it wasn't really my cup of tea. 😊

Back in time, Kafka's The Trial had a profound influence on me. The absurdity of the modern society, and how an individual worth is diminished for example. I struggled with Metamorphosis and enjoyed The Castle. :)

This was a very powerful video. Can fiction create "attachment"? Can we or do we create relationships with fictional characters (even like this doll)?

I'm sure we can. In some sense we should and must. I've a strong attachment to my journals for example. I treat them like talismans. Like objects that talk back. Our life is a fiction we tell ourselves.

@@VashikArmenikus I opened up a book (Understand Each Other by Paul Tournier) randomly and it said, "Here is a greater mystery: no one comes to know himself through introspection, or in the solitude of his personal diary. Rather, it is in dialog, in his meeting with other persons. It is only by expressing his conviction to others that he becomes really conscious of them. He who would see himself clearly must open up to a confidant freely chosen and worthy of trust." I find it hard in this day to pay for someone to listen to me that I may not respect his views or really feeling heard when talking to someone. How can diaries and books bridge this gap? I wish you would do a program on this and possibly talk about other authors that have e done this!

As far as I know, Kafka did not radiate much light in his life, even we owe his literature to Max Brod, if he had followed Kafka's advice, we would have been deprived of his literary works. And you, @VashikArmenikus jan, are doing a wonderful job! Honestly, I appreciate it very much! You spread literary taste and let me say - with great skill!!!
