If your students are trying to attain content knowledge about a specific skill, use Rally Robin where they can list answers orally or you can use All Record Round Robin which would allow all students to say an answer and everyone writes down the answer. At the end, students would have 4 or more answers. This structure helps to build knowledge in my ELA class. SInce History and ELA share a lot of the same skills, maybe that will work.
