Couldn't agree more. You nailed it. One of the best bands I've ever seen in concert and I've seen soooo many amazing bands over the years. I'm travelling 4 hours to see them in a few weeks and I am looking forward to that trip more than I could ever possibly express. 🤘🤘 They're unbelievable

The main beat is a totally different technique, but reminds me of Dirk Verbeuren's signature blastbeat made of Swiss Army triplets.

I've been an OB fan since c.2018; my favorite band. I finally got to see them in NYC three times in five months 2022-3, all front and center. It was mayhem; I had a blast. Kahokiss has been posting a lot of shorts on IG. I love watching her play.

I first saw that video of her playing this song at the Damnably showcase a couple years ago. I was floored by her. So I had to find out who the band was and I’ve been hooked on Otoboke Beaver ever since. So essentially a drummer got me into that band. She’s a beast.

Abe doesn't use Z custom cymbals: mainly A customs and a couple of K's which get far less use, so using him to advertise the Z customs would have been potentially misleading. His cymbal choice better suits the Deftones alt-metal music; the Z's more this punk aesthetic. Not that you can't use any cymbal for any genre but drummers make their choices for a reason and Abe doesn't choose Zs'.
