To me, he was THE Shonen rival. As a kid, I though he was the coolest dude ever and even to this, he's still the GOAT of shonen rivals.

Honestly I was kinda upset no one told Lia good job after he almost beat Tyson and he could have it just felt weird seeing him alone

I was taking in the analysis so seriously and out of nowhere you said "Kai is from a rich family. He lost one battle and now acts like he is homeless." 😂😂 It is so true though. It makes me like him even more. He is also so dramatic in the Rising comics when it comes to beyblade.

Thank you for this. I think a lot of characters in animated series should take a page from Kai’s character as a whole this dude was one of the most well written and coolest characters in any kids show and one about spinning tops at that. Kai is a 10/10 period. The GOAT.

I personallg belive kai is still the best blader in the series. Apart frok brooklyn. I feel bcoz of plot armor he lost the championships in both season 2 & 3. He lost his composure at the end. If he was consistent vis a vis who he is he wouldve definitely won.

I also want to add something. I believe the Bladebreakers are all based on one element from the five element theory in Daoism. Obviously Kai is fire and a fire personality is described as: "The Fire Element personality is passionate, intense, brilliant, and always striving for the best. It is powerful, attractive, mature, and sophisticated. The weakness of this Element is that its power can invite arrogance or hubris. It can become self-destructive. " Just as you said in the video.

Watching the subtitled version, these characters are great and had a lot more depth than the dub ever gave them.

I didn't see much of the first season but I watched V Force and G Revolution. The second time around I watched Plastic Gen without the movies.
