Just the scene where he’s like “I dunno, I was improvising. Usually Lloyd does the talking. *realizes what’s going on and gets back on track* WHERE IS LLOYD?!”
In original his voice is great, while in Italian he does not freak out enough: it's a drama for the Fire Master. He is stuck again inside stupid technology and he can't use his powers again. Well... "stupid technology"... don't tell Zane.
@@Shadow-yc7yy - Yep. In eighth season they all risk their elemental powers in order to save Lloyd's life. But then they don't lose it. Luckily. However in First Realm there's a problem with that DragonBone sword.
I love Kai's progressions over the series. He went from protagonist to hot-headed Macho Man to actually mature to social media influencer and finally since season 8 hot-headed dork
yeah like if i show him this he ganna litarally flip the table with coles cke still on it and trust me he almost burnd down the dojo and gave jay frostbite and pls dont ask me what actually happend to him and the frostbite thing
@@silverschmid4591 (Thanks! If you wanted to know) The emoji I put was a face smiling and a tear falling down from the emojis cheek. (aka laugh away the pain)
It's because he and the others were going through puberty at the time and Lloyd wasn't But I think they lost it in between season 7 and 8 and Lloyd hits puberty which is why his voice gets deeper
@@muzainahimran9462 Dude, they're in their mid twenties by later seasons. Kai, Nya, Jay, and Cole were pretty much done with puberty when the series started. Zane's a nindroid, so he doesn't count, and Lloyd went through puberty in a matter seconds when he was aged forward approximately ten years.
I think they mostly did it to go with the flow of "late 2010s cartoons" that have more higher pitched voices to help with comedy. Everyone had their voices higher pitched after March of the Oni. I really would rather they'd keep the original voices but it is what it is.
@@PrimalAspid96 with a f*cking fork 🤣 yeah I know that would be painful but that’s hilarious! Bro can take a bunch of beatings and near deaths…can’t win against a fork!
A ninja, any freaking ninja needs pocket: weapons, scrolls, stuff, medicines and whatever they need have to be with them, they need a fraking pocket. Or they are supposed to find when they arrive somewhere new, hostile and dangerous?
He's like that because his parents left him at a young age with his sister and the others used to treat him badly as they did'nt know what he went through. He has been the only sad character that i focused on season 1 .Now i still feel bad for the sad times Kai has been through and i still think about the funny times of him when im sad (some of those words are my theory about Kai i dont remember if its true. But thats the only thing i could think of)
@@norlaching8422 Well aside from Kai's grief over Zane's "death" and that he wished himself to die instead I don't really see as much trauma. Maybe I'm just blind towards my fav ninja or something ;w;
I legit need a 10 hour version of kai just being kai. Also, "Im really thirsty so we dont need to keep singing about tea" is literally the best line I had seen through out my years of watching this show.
This is random, but one issue I have with a decent amount of shows that go on for a long time is that character personalities end up becoming really inconsistent. The later seasons are frustrating for me personally, because Kai used to be charmingly arrogant and overconfident but now he's just the comedic relief airhead. It's always so off-putting when a character changes drastically, and it just personally *really* bothers me. This is just my opinion, but it sucks because he's always been my favorite. I might be overthinking this, but Ninjago was such a big part of my childhood and it makes me really sad to see my favorite character be completely different. Also no hate to the show, I still love it, I'm just butthurt lol.
Also sad that they did change their designs. Kais old character was so good, and now... well. I got so frustrated, I took the minifigs of the new sets and got them the heads of the old design.. The new ones just arent the ninjas they used to be, the ones I loved. Sadly. :(
Idea : Kia grew up with the responsibility to take care/raise Nya all by himself. Probably didn't do school due to that as well. Had to act mature and responsible from a very young age. Once their parents came back, he finally allowed himself to let loose. Even to the point of regressing to act more goofy and childlike possibly in an attempt to take back that childlike demeanor he never really got to use. A theory I've heard from various other fans that I agree with. Tho I do agree in the sense that it would be nice to see a little bit more of that fiery attitude we saw in earlier seasons and as inconsistent as he may be at times I do not think this version is horrible. Both are good. Both have strengths and problems tho I must admit it'd be nice if they'd give him just alittle more screentime to shine. Just a long thought.
When the actors came together, *they were really funny in the pilot.* _Now they became funnier and serious with the characters. It's fun watching their progress._
No silly! He was talking on his communicator I know it’s weird and you think he’s talking to the viewers but “Breaking the fourth wall” means comparing to both the show and reality you’d be surprised
One thing I noticed about Kai is that, if he gets angry, sad, nervous/worried or feels any negative emotion, he'll start to pace back and fourth. It's kinda weird. Not only that but he gets obsessed with things really easily, for example, becoming the green ninja. It was so dam obvious JAY could tell...and Jay's an idiot...they all are lol, but anyway, if he puts his mind to something, no matter how small it is, there is almost no stopping him. His behavior is somewhat similar to mine, and that sometimes leads me to believe he has a mental issue...that much is clear though right? It's either that or they just wanted to make a character like that...0_0 That or he's the creators favorite character (I'll explain the reasoning for me thinking that) I may not be a psychologist, but, as someone with lots of friends and 2 siblings- I have come to learn that (for some strange reason) people like to basically torture their favorite character in their mind. AnD if you have watched all of the ninjago series, Kai seems to get beat up and harmed both physically and mentally often. This may not actually be true, but that's just what I think... No matter that, Kai is still 100% my favorite character, I love the mix between, spiky hair, red, hot head, and most importantly the scar 😁❤🔥
