Day 1: Kathmandu to Kyirong
Start your journey early from Kathmandu, driving through scenic landscapes to Kyirong. Learn about the necessary border formalities and what to expect upon entering Tibet. Overnight in the peaceful town of Kyirong, known as the 'Happy Village.
Day 2: Acclimatization at Kyirong
Explore Kyirong, visiting significant sites like Ghepuk Cave, and understand its historical and religious importance. Prepare for higher altitudes with a restful day in this serene location.
Day 3: Kyirong to Saga
Journey through beautiful landscapes, viewing the Kyirung waterfall and the Qomolangma high pass. Discover the unique flora and fauna of this region as you make your way to Saga for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Saga to Mansarovar
Drive across vast landscapes to reach the holy Mansarovar Lake. Learn about the religious significance of the lake and the options for overnight stays near its tranquil waters.
Day 5: Mansarovar to Darchen
Experience spiritual activities like bathing and meditation at Mansarovar. Take a tour around the lake and then head to Darchen, preparing for the upcoming trek around Mount Kailash.
Day 6: Darchen to DiraPuk
Embark on the Kailash Parikrama as you trek from Darchen to DiraPuk. Enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kailash and learn about the local legends associated with this sacred mountain.
Day 7: DiraPuk to Charansparsa ( Touch kailash) and back
Trek to Charansparsa, a point believed to be directly touching the feet of Lord Shiva. Discover the spiritual and physical challenges of this trek and the profound religious beliefs surrounding it.
Day 8: DiraPuk to ZuthulPuk via Dolma La Pass
Continue your pilgrimage over the Dolma La Pass, experiencing one of the most significant spiritual days of the Yatra. Understand the challenges and rewards of this trekking route.
Day 9: End of Kailash Parikrama and return to Saga
Complete your Kailash Parikrama and reflect on your spiritual journey as you trek back to Darchen and drive to Saga, marking the end of an unforgettable pilgrimage.
Day 10: Drive from Saga to Kyirong
This is your final day in the Tibetan Plateau itself. The drive from Saga to Kyirong takes about 4 - 5 hrs. The picturesque Kiron waterfall lies in this route, so we can spend time clicking photos and mesmerizing here. After a short drive from Kiron waterfall to Kyirong, we spent the whole day resting and reflecting on our Journey to Kailash Mansarovar Trek.
Day 11: Drive from Kyirong to Kathmandu
After the successful completion of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, we drive back to Nepal, filled with spiritual enlightenment with the help of meditation and the blessing of lord shiva.
Today is the final day of our Journey, as we leave the Tibet border after completing immigration formalities. The drive from Kyirong to Kathmandu takes about 6 - 7 hours along the greenery. The drive may even take more hours depending on the road conditions, as it is completely off-road from the Nepal Immigration Office. Our Journey ends at Kathmandu.
