Yeah, I've heard that male Vocaloids are harder to use properly, which really sucks because like you said, used right, they sound awesome! It's kind of sad that people don't really take the time with them more to properly learn how to use them, because as shown here, they sound amazing :D
What i love the most about this song is the idea of a forbidden love....and the two must overcome the fear of being discovered and shamed....but it fits with the two so well! Kaito and Gakupo are a great pairing!

yeah, i have only recently discovered this. in other videos like the one where Miku and Gakupo as cosplaying as Mario and Luigi, Gakupo looks like a girl.
All the vocaloids are paired with a certain food. For Miku its a leek for Gakupo its an eggplant and for Kaito as you may have guessed by now is ice cream

I like what was done with this version. There were parts where you could hear there was a different vibrato or the pace was picked up for a note or two and it made it a little less same old same old and more like different people were singing it instead of just the same robot with a different voice. Good job to the person who arranged it!
