I remember hearing a while back a mix similar to this with an Alan Watts sample where he is talking about how if we could dream anything we wanted, we would all eventually dream our lives exactly as they are now. I can't seem to find it anymore. Any idea where I can listen to it?

There is no necessity for it whatsoever. It isn’t going anywhere. That is to say it doesn’t have some destination that it ought to arrive at. So then, in music though, one doesn’t make the end of the composition - the point of the composition. If that was so the best conductors would be those who played fastest. And there would be composers who wrote only finales. People would go to concerts just to hear one crashing chord, because that’s the end.
