After one year, Kajsa Is back! The entire crew have been waiting for her arrival after the injuries, so we figured the best way to celebrate this was to create a lead video.
Kajsa chooses a route that scares her and she wanted to give it her best try, hope you like the video!

PLEASE, MORE LEAD CLIMBING!!! Where I'm from my gym does not have a very big bouldering section and it is nice to see indoor lead climbing apposed to outdoor because not everyone gets the opportunity to go outside and can only climb indoors. Love the vids guys and wish I could climb in such an awesome gym like yours!!

I can really relate. I've had acrophobia since I was very young. I did bouldering for years, and still wasn't over it. Once I started climbing with auto-belays on a 32 feet wall I finally started feeling comfortable with the height, and that ended up making a huge difference in my bouldering. I didn't realize until the fear was gone how much it was holding me back even just a few feet off the ground and indoors.

One of favorite episodes because I can relate so well. Lead climbing requires such strong mental game, something that I work on every time I do routes, and it's nice to see a professional climber like Kajsa faces the same fears that the rest of us face.

It's very nice to see Kajsa back. If you are reading...Great job Kajsa! I had dislocated and mangled a great deal of tissue in my shoulder this past fall and had recently decided to hit the wall again. I empathize with the difficulties and absolute frustration in overcoming the mental limitations that come after a serious injury. It is very inspiring to see you commit through the uncertainty and take the fall. Yaay Kajsa is back! I love watching her climb, she's just so strong and so on point. I also really liked to see a lead climbing video, and would love to see more in the future. I don't really do bouldering, because I'm too scared of injuries (I have weak ankles ok), but I'm trying to get better at lead so it's really cool to see some videos on that. Also it'd be interesting to see what climbers that usually specialize in bouldering can do on the lead wall, and what they think is the same and what is different for them. Great work on the video as always!

Brave and remarkable climbs, Kajsa! Confronting fears is one thing, but doing it when you know you’re being recorded, and letting others see you do it, is even more impressive. It was great to see that even with immense talent and physical training, having to battle your mind is still part of it. The frustration felt familiar to me, a climber who’s still learning. Awesome work.

I've somewhere along the way lost my calm lead head and it's really nice to see that even beastly climbers like Kajsa have fear. This video perfectly demonstrates climbing is as much mental as it is physical. Super awesome that she made herself commit and go for it even if it meant taking a swingy lead fall.
