Going off on your comments about there being no mental health services in the shinobi world, Sakura actually starts up mental health clinics for war orphans after the Fourth War. It's in the novels and I have so much more respect for her for doing that.

@@awsomekick99 Completely agree. What Naruto did by deciding to take Kawaki was incredibly admirable, but that love after so much trauma drove Kawaki even crazier and it turned into obsession. He really needs real mental health treatment added onto that loving care 🥺

It looks like you underestimate the fact that Hiruzen chose Minato instead of Orochimaru. Naruto ep.72 thoughts of Hiruzen: « Eyes with malice and ambition concealed in them. I had noticed that you had such tendences, I had noticed but pretended not to know. It was still during the war-torn era, a genius who brimmed over strongly and ability… nothing less than a phenomenon that comes once in several decades. So I wanted to think that you would carry on my own will and power.. » At that time Orochi wasn’t considered as a criminal and was a protagonist of World war II for Konoha.

I love the reaction you guys put on this episode. I wonder if we can all agree that we need a Naruto prequel that centers on Minato’s early days before he became the 4th Hokage. There so much more into that character, and those around him like Kushima & Kakashi, has yet to be explored.

A yesman in any organization is always a liability in the long run... As a boss you need people that are not afraid to defy you when you are wrong... As long as they are actually competent of course... so if danzo's "methods" are working you can see how hiruzen still has him around , though he wouldn't have supported how far some of his methods went if he actually knew, he decided to turn a blind eye to the ones he did know... Not saying at all danzo was right or anything... just that hiruzen understood that on his time as the boss danzo did bring stuff to the table...

The anime in english version Minato killed 1000 Iwa shinobi, in Spanish version he killed 1000 Iwa shinobi in 5 sec, in Thai version he killed 10’000… its just a race to exaggeration… in the manga so in official version he killed 50 powerful Iwa shinobi… which remains impressive

This is why I never skip filler except the one that are truly goffy not part of the story, filler like this are considered anime canon because it stick to the main story.. Also about the therapy even in real life most country don't have it that much, this is more like American thing..

Yea, the anime here (and even the manga kinda) retcon what happens under the 3rd Hokage which makes him look too weak & too laid back. Not just with Danzo, but it makes it look like he didnt give a fuck about Naruto. Why is Naruto living the life he is when the 3rd swore he’d take full responsibility? Lok

Minato is more worthy of being the 4th Hokage than Orochimaru and if Orochimaru becomes Hokage Konoha will be ruined because he can't lead
