The worse part of his death was when Naruto asks Tsunade why can't he sense Kakashi and she doesn't respond. 🥺

Such a great scene still wished to see the conversation between kakashi and his father!

Imagine Obito chilling in the kamui dimension and a missile comes at him out of nowhere.

This death shook me the hardest in Shippuden, because it really did come out of nowhere. Especially since everyone thought Team 7 was protected by plot armor.

The Pain arc is where this series peaked. You'd think killing Jiraiya was enough but nope.

Eventhough Kakashi got revived he's death was perfect especially the scene with his father

This was such a masterful use of a “death.” The death of Jiraiya made Kakashi’s “death” very believable for everyone and it was therefore genuinely heartbreaking, which makes his revival also very unexpected. His brief death also managed to give us so much information about the past (Minato, Obito, Rin, and his father) and really begins to connect it with the future before the Fourth Great Ninja War began.

Headcannon for Kakashi becoming so much stronger after this in the War arc. Is because he had so many mental barriers holding him back as it relates to his father with his suicide and the guilt that came with it. And the barriers being lifted from his chat w his dad amplified his strength tremendously.

Kakashi is without a doubt one of the best, if not the best, character in Naruto.

Pain is such a good guy that he reunited kakashi with his dead dad

I feel that Kakashi's story could have ended here if he wasn't needed for the later plot line

I think after Nagato resurrected him, he got a massive chakra bust. Because after Pain arc Kakashi was able to spam Kamui without major health problems

I was nearly 12 or 13 when I saw this csene for a first time. I cried a lot, honestly. Kakashi is LITERALLY my favourite character in this amine. And so I'm 22 now, and this csene makes me cry again T_T

its the lead into this scene that always get me, kakashi had a chance to survive had he not used the technique, pain had little reason to come and finish him off after learning he survived and he doesn't seem to be lethally injured. the fact he just sees the fate of konoha at threat, he sees one last sacrificial act he can do to save someone and he takes it with barely a moment of consideration. (consider how compressed the time is while he's thinking, everything is complete slow motion)
