Improved a lot since 1969 when I regularly drove through the village on route Troodos to Nicosia Airport in an RAF Landrover meeting new arrivals. I always found time to stop for a coffee on the way back to show newcomers how friendly the locals were.
Fabulous memories for you. My earliest memory of Cyprus is in 1975 when we travelled by road from England. My mother is Cypriot, We had an amazing journey and experience of Cyprus back in the "good old days."
