Haha love your username! So glad you had a good time at The Kartrite! We really enjoyed it Too. I honestly think you can’t go wrong with either resort!
Kalahari is my absolute favorite it’s so fun. My favorite ride is smoke that thunders. But for some reason almost everytime I go at least one of my family members gets sick which is a strange coincidence…
My favorite slide at kalahari is Victoria Falls! Also one thing I keep noticing in your videos that feature kalahari is that you mistake screaming hyena for Sahara sidewinders and vice versa. Not trying to be mean, I’m just pointing out a small mistake. And I have a new suggestion, can you compare either Kalahari vs. Kalahari Sandusky, Ohio or Wisconsin Dells. Or Kalahari vs. Wild Water Kingdom at Dorney park in Allentown Pennsylvania!
Just came back from our trip from Kartrite. A lil update for u is that they do have an escape room (might not be in Kalahari's scale) in the arcade game right across from the park entrance
Kalahari is much better! I’m at Kartrite now. It’s horrible. Most things are closed for most of the day. Difficult to find food. And only 3 working water slides.
Just came back from 2nd trip to Kalahari, was curious about Kartrite, this video saves me the trip. Check in at Kalahari had self serve kiosks, took maybe 5 minutes to check in, no need to entertain kids. I will say, Saturday was a mob compared to Friday. The only waterpark that I've been to that I can truly rank above Kalahari is Volcano Bay in Universal Studios Orlando, but that's an outside waterpark only, but its Florida, so its open most of the year. =)
Top Flight Family no I haven’t been to it but when I watched your video in it I asked my mom and we are going to very soon, I went to kalahari and I’m going to camelback on Thursday I love when you do these videos so can you please do a Kalahari vs camelback?
9:53 Yeah, I can tell that was a stab at Great Wolf Lodge. Specifically their pizza, which absolutely sucks! Overall, I will say that I was pretty impressed with the food at Kalahari. With Great Wolf Lodge it was touch and go. As I said, the pizza sucks, however, the little food shack in the water park area does have good burgers and the main restaurant inside is decent too. Further they have buffet style eating, so you can pick and choose what you like. However, I believe there was a buffet style place at Kalahari too. I am planning a trip to Kartrite next, so I will keep that chicken cutlet parm dish in mind. It looks like a nice little place. I am mainly going there because it is on the same route, and only a half our way from Legoland New York. Since Legoland's hotel prices are OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive, I could lodge in at Kartrite and get waterpark passes to boot for more than $175 less for a family of four.
I was at Kalahari Sandusky Ohio with my mom and my sister. We went down Victoria falls with our mother the first time, and sense it was a small line, me and my sister decided to go down it again. But, as we started, we were floating and not moving fast. Then, during the dark part of the slide, me and my sister got stuck and wouldn’t move. We tried tugging it and moving it but it wouldn’t budge. The water was loud and my sister was crying, and I was comforting her. I yelled for help multiple times, eventually, they heard me and stopped the water. A different life guard went up the slide (with all the water turned off) and grabbed the raft we were on. We got to slide down (slowly) until we made it down. Many people were around, starring. When me and my sister got out, my mother was overreacting a bit, But I could understand. I just had this memory sense I’m going tomorrow lol. Overall it’s an awesome place, but would recommend having some extra weight on the raft when going down Victoria falls. (Not trying to body shame if that sounded rude.) stay safe y’all
When I went to Kalahari, they give you access to the water park while you wait for your room to be ready. So we got there hours early. Does Kartrite do that, too? Or am I better off getting there at check in time?
Great vid. Thank you for the comparison. I won set have you guys been to Camelback Resort in the Poconos. I’d be interested to see how it compares to Kalahari.
Hi Mitchell I actually cover that in this video: 16 Things You Didn't Know About The Kartrite Water Park Monticello NY ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9zMQLXCWLRw.html
Help me figure this out my toddler never been to water park neither have i an im 30 im planning on taking her for her 5th birthday yall im scared of the big rides so im not interested which water park do u think i should take her comment below please an thank u
I like both a lot but I prefer Kalahari because it has so many different slides to go on and tihs is,b,er I’m going to the pencil venia one for the first time usually I go to ohip Kalahari and the Ohio kalahari has the best arecade ever it’s so awesome my favorite arecade I went to great wolf lodge drop slide amazing I go on it over and over only thing is I feel like there not enough slides at great wolf lodge and the arecade seems way smaller than the Ohio Kalahari but still even though I like Kalahari better great wolf lodge is a great trip to add onto Niagara Falls like it’s a great addon
@@TopFlightFamily thanks so much for reply..also I would like to ask you something else..my apologies to bother that much..for the games, arcade, bowling game do I have to pay extra?? Or everything is imcluded I mean the games..I know foods are not included :))
I disagree on the water park. The Kalahari atmosphere gave a lot of us a headache, due to the poor lighting. Also, the Kalahari had insane queue waits, compared to the Kartrite.
Top Flight Family yeah! I always prefer outdoor parks, but the Kartrite has that Glass Ceiling that makes it much better. You guys NEED to try Camelback Lodge! That place has an amazing indoor water park! It was built in 2015 and it has about 7 big water slides! They’re really unique and it’s a great park! They even have really great indoor mini golf!
