I am new to your channel and came across it trying to find out more info about Hawaii. I usually don't leave comments but I have to say, I love your style of vlogging. Your videos are very informative, organized, straight to the point. You give very useful practical tips and do not over-hype stuff; you just present the place as it is. You also answer all questions tourists might have in mind. Excellent job at editing videos as well! You guys are doing a brilliant job and I hope your channel grows bigger!
Hello We are here right now... and we did it... Hilton Waikiki to Ala Moana Park and Sea over the Park and ate at Ala Moana Center and we did go walk again back to our Hilton Waikiki Hotel😂😂😂with a 7yo son...its hot but its fun...all walking
I just came back from Hawaii, stayed at Waikiki banyan hotel, and every early in the morning I walked to kalakaua statue and even walked to alamoana and walked the bridge you were standing. I love Hawaii! 🤙🇲🇵
@@Livingtheglobe I was right, you didn't disappoint! Can you guys do a video of the other two streets that are running parallel to the canal? It is really helpful that you use the map and point out where you are! Mahalo! 🎒📸🤙
Thank you, thank you I really enjoyed the tour. My husband and I will be staying at Queen Kapiolani in September and we’re supper excited 😊 so thank you again on showing us things to do and places to eat and also the many hotels.❤️❤️
I’m so glad I found your channel. We will be in Honolulu for 1 day off a cruise ship in April but we will be back in October for a longer stay. This was so helpful as off the ship I think we will just have a Waikiki day
Anne-Marie, I'm overjoyed to hear that you found my channel helpful for planning your upcoming trip to Honolulu! 🤗 It's great that you'll have a chance to explore Waikiki during your short stop off the cruise ship, and I'm sure you'll love it even more during your longer stay in October. 🌴 Let me know if you have any questions or need any recommendations for things to do and places to eat! 🍍
Thank you to the both of you! We have been watching your videos and have learned so many things. Loved this video because of how detailed you were. Thank you for showing everyone Hawaii in an informative way.
You guys are awesome! Irina's narratives are on point and Devon's filming is perfect! I don't know how either of you do what you do without bumping into things! 😂 Thanks so much for making your videos! They are both informative and make me feel like I'm having a little vacation in my living room until I come in Oct! 🌞🎊🍾🎉
Good job!!!!!!! What a beautiful day to just walk the day….awesome video… seeing the palm tree swaying just cool myself to comfort…..BEAUTIFUL HAWAII,,,,,, so comfortable to lay back and be yourself. Enjoying the views…..
I would love a tour of Alohilani as that’s where we plan to stay on our first trip to Hawaii next summer!! I love your videos! They are incredibly helpful for planning.
Great video, love all the info for our upcoming visit to Waikiki! Really love your videos! You both are awesome tour guides, Thank you so much! Hope to see you there! Aloha!
Thanks for making these videos! They are so helpful! I'd like to see a walking tour down the beach side of Waikiki. Also, it would be great to have a video of the free cultural events and hula type shows that are being done right now.
Aloha guys and happy New Year! We are preparing for our Oahu and Kauai vacation and your tips are really useful! Big Mahalo for your precious work!🙏🏼 heartily greetings from Germany 🌺😘😘
Thank you for this video. I will be visiting 09/30/21 thru 10/09/21. Can not wait. Can you tell me the type of camera your using. Love the quality and would live to have something this good to capture my vacation. Keep up the great work. Aloha
Thanks for your beach and street view walkthrough videos. We are coming there to celebrate our 25th anniversary this October! The park shore hotel has been recommended to us for its location etc....do you know if its a decent hotel? And wed love a walk through vid of it sometime....thanks so much....rex & rene
Watched the entire video. Enjoyed it and found it helpful. Appreciate your honest opinions on restaurants. I’m sure I will watch this again, as well as the others! 🌺
Great video, I am watching as many as possible. I really appreciate your honesty when discussing restaurants. On this video you mentioned Embassy Suites, do you recall how far the hotel is from the beach. We might stay there. Thanks
These guys are amazing! Such helpful videos and an absolutely awesome couple! Much love from South Korea! Thank you very much! Please keep the videos coming!!
Love this video! Seems like just yesterday we were there. We did a good portion of that walk a few times while we visited. It was also very nice to run into you.
Awesome video - will there be a walking/sight seeing through, Ward Village, Kakaako and Ala Moana (not the mall, too many beautiful videos of that I've already seen)...
Can you guys do a tour that would be “The cheapest but fun” tour of this island? To give those like me an idea of the prices of food and places to visit. That would be awesome for those on a small budget. Love your site. 😎 Also living there, rent prices for senior citizens too move there, expenses food prices. I have been told that you need to be wealthy to live anywhere there. This info would be a Godsend for those of us who would like to retire there. Thank you so very much.
I second that. I’m thinking of retiring myself and looking to do it in Honolulu. You guys do a great job of showing us all about Honolulu so it would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work! Enjoy all your videos that I’ve watched.
Could be rain all week, could be sunshine all week, could just have a slight drizzle for 10 min and sunshine all day :) November though March is the rainy season and the weather is unpredictable.
Hey Irving Hernandez! Thank you for your kind words and support. That's awesome that you're planning a trip to Oahu and staying at the Wayfinder Hotel for your birthday in June 2023. The Wayfinder Hotel is a fantastic choice! It's a trendy and vibrant hotel located in the heart of Oahu, offering a unique blend of modern design and Hawaiian hospitality. Since it's your birthday, make sure to let the hotel know in advance, as they might have special surprises or offerings to celebrate the occasion. Additionally, Oahu itself has plenty to offer. Don't miss the chance to explore the beautiful beaches, experience the vibrant local culture, and indulge in delicious Hawaiian cuisine. Have an incredible birthday trip to Oahu and enjoy your stay at the Wayfinder Hotel. If you have any more questions or need further recommendations, feel free to ask. Safe travels and happy early birthday!
How do I find ur tour of the Hyatt Regency Hotel Waikiki? My husband, now ex-husband & I were there in 1988. I cant believe how much Oahu has changed. But u guys brought back some wonderful memories for me. I would luv to go back. I tell everyone if I could afford it I'd move there. The weather is perfect for my health. But thank you so much. I really want to see the tour of the Hyatt Regency bc that's where we stayed. It was a business trip for my husband. But it was awesome.❤
Love the walking tour! Now I know some spots I want to check out. Have you already done a walk through tour of Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach?? 🌊🌊🌊I’d love to see it! 😊
Loving your videos. You guys are awesome. Looking forward to visiting Hawaii for the 5th time in August 2022 and your videos have given me more ideas and things to do that I haven’t done yet. Any chance of a walk through of The Beachcomber by Outrigger would be awesome
Elyse, you're so welcome! 😊 I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed the walk-through. 💕 It was my pleasure to share the experience with you, and I hope it helped you get a better sense of what to expect. 🌺 If you have any other questions or requests for future videos, please don't hesitate to let me know! 🤗
Great video! I miss Hawaii so much. How about a walk through of Aulani? I know Devon did a walk though of KoOlina. Would love to see the inside of Aulani again.
We are sad we didn't know about all of those things. We just left hilton Hawaiian village around 3 weeks ago. Thanks. We'll do it next time. I'm hoping we can come for 2nd time
We're just back (last Monday) from 2 weeks at the Hale Koa Hotel. FWIW, Fort DeRussy is pronounced "D-Roo-See" :-) I guess our timing was right for eating, experiencing only one long wait and that was at Haliewa Joe's Haiku Gardens (Kaneohe). We got there at opening time Friday 7/16 (4:30 PM) and were seated 2 hours and 35 minutes later. Everywhere else was a normal 20-30 minute, at the most, wait times.
@@gracebergeron949 We love it there. Since 1987, we've stayed there 31 times and spent 362 nights there (43 of those nights were when we were waiting to move into our house on Hickam AFB in 1988), so we've seen many changes over the years and keep coming back. Best location in Waikiki and we feel VERY fortunate to be eligible to stay there.
I love your videos for Hawaii. Very informative. I lived there on Oahu 15 years. U do a good job of pronouncing the Hawaiian names, however, Ft DeRussey is pronounced DeRoosie not DeRussie.
Very nice video. Very disappointed you did not take the sidewalk closest to the beach leading to Barefoot Beach Cafe that you passed in back of. It's got great food and nice table area to watch the ocean. I'd like to see the condition of the beach in that area. They had to take the lifeguard shack down from being on the beach and move it back the grass. The park benches under that big tree is my fav place to spend the morning.
I will visit Honolulu soon and staying in a hotel for 10 days. Probably can’t afford high end restaurants daily, so can you please do a video maybe recommending cheap & good place close by to eat. Thank you!
