HOW WAS THIS FIFTH wow that was so cool! and i watched some of her competitors and her dance really stood out to me and was different (in a great way) this was amazing
Loved this - Kalani is my favourite dancer - she is always on the rhythm - this and the investment are my favourite dances of hers. I wish ALDC would be more abstract in their choreography
Kalani killed that!!! But does anyone else think that Simi would have slayed with this number? I'm really proud of Kalani anyway, she's growing into such an amazing dancer and she's definitely going to be working in the industry in the future :)
+Hannah Hatfield Why must everyone compare them? Kalani and Brynn have much better technique and technique. Both of them starting dancing with Club since about 3 or 4 and definitely are ahead of the girls in the ALDC. Honestly, they're both unique in their own ways.
I can undestand why people dont like it. Even tho is a beautiful routine, I found it a little "flat". Its not a dance wich is supossed to touch your heart (Like wistful or forever young). The reason why almost everyone likes forever young is because you could feel a great connection with Kalani. This solo is just like "Watch me dance with my great technique and flexibility and if you like it enjoy and if not just leave" . It doesn't have a graceful song or a stunning costume. Its still one of my favourite solos of hers, so entertaining and beautiful o watch!
lmao i'm so late but that's because this routine is a completely seperate dance style to forever young! FY was a lyrical piece, and this is contemporary :)
How could she have competed with club dance at the dance awards in Las Vegas but was also able to complete with ALDC in New York. By the rules you can’t.
Obviously Kalani is a really stunning and beautiful dancer, but this solo was honestly kinda boring and repetitive at times.... I wish there were more details to it plus we all know that she can nail any choreography given to her!!!
Gee I wish she remembered how Abby taught her to exit a stage after a dance, you might have a different choreographer here but don't forget proper stage entrance and exit at your age, should be ingrained by now
If you compare the dancers that go to competitions like dance awards they do slow and controlled movements that look beautiful and when they go to competitions like World Class Talent and Sheer Talent they do sassy jazz routines that get 2nd and 3rd. They also do good sassy jazz routines at Dance Awards that get firs place not second or third. see the difference.
