Yes your are right! Iam from uttarakhand i don't know about how and what they worship but their dance forms, way of singing and the musical instrument and architecture are same as we have in uttarakhand and himachal!

Our people were in the Yamna region 3500 years ago. The Kalash have genes from the Yamna region too. Yamna is in SE Ukraine. Scythian and Thracian tombs were discovered several years ago.

Culture can only be protected by staying in your culture,conversion is the worst crime ,what good it do to the either side only because of your desires u tried to rob someone's happiness or whatever things tangible or intangible.I you can't cherish someone's culture better not to try to convert him.Let love prevails in every 1 of us.Its heartbreaking to see such innocent people being killed.It is my request to all those people who visit there don't try to influence the people by showing them the stellar dreams of city life ,when deep down we all know how empty nd lonely the city is.Let them choose the life they want.Thanks

Due to Covid19 After a long period of tourism shutdown, the government has reopened it with precautionary measures. Tourism stakeholders can benefit by following these. Precautions expressed yesterday at a local hotel in Chitral. Addressing the closing ceremony of two days workshop on the topic of tourism. MD Tourism Muhammad Ali Syed was also present on the occasion while the Chitral Tourism Association cabinet and members were present. He said . The measures that are taken by the present government to promote tourism. Are Commendable,.... Under them , the tourism revenue was estimated to, be at Rs trillion by But due to Covid19 it took a huge blow. And last year in just five months Tourism suffered a loss of Rs billion and forty crore rupees which resulted in lakh and a thousand people associated with tourism to wash their hands of employment. But this year government has allowed tourism again with precautionary measures in the environment of Covid - The aim is to protect the health of guests and hosts as well as provide employment opportunities to tourism-related people. DG Tourism Services said . Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Department waived the fees of hotels affected by Covid19 last year . They have done it . And this year also the issue of a fee waiver is under consideration. Last year , they assured all kinds of cooperation in the settlement of the remaing of the hotels which were declared as quarantine centers in Chitral , whose total value is Rs . crore forty lakh . Ghulam Syed assured the construction of washrooms on Dir Chitral Shandoor Road and Kalash Valley Road to facilitate the tourists from the World Bank Fund . And said that only locals will be recruited in the Tourism Police. Director-General Preventing deforestation and encroachment and dumping of polluted water and garbage in rivers for sustainable tourism were declared a serious crime. Participants were instructed to avoid it themselves and to prevent others from Peshawar High . Take action in light of court decision. which issued a decision against polluting the Swat river and encroachment in the surrounding. He commended Chitral Tourism Association for interest in the workshop and making it successful And assured every possible cooperation regarding tourism development and facilitation of tourists in Chitral . Q & A sessions were also held during the workshop . In which especially President Tourism Association Chitral Syed Hareer Shah ، Jamshed Ahmed and Sheikh Farooq raises questions. Including the accumulation of hotel quarantine remains ، lack of washrooms on tourist routes ، continuous delays in improving the condition of tired and difficult roads of tourist destinations ، due to restless and unorganized tourism Need to create a strategy to avoid losses ، Lack of clean water for tourists in Chitral city and other tourist attractions ، Facilitate tourists by introducing online system instead of asking for documents from tourists repeatedly on check posts ، Tourism related Detailed questions were asked about inviting relevant people to training workshop and promoting general tourism instead of festival based tourism. GM agreed with all questions. And said. These issues will be given full attention. And my doors are always open for Chitral Tourism Association to resolve these problems. Workshop resource person Jalil Ahmed shed light on the precautionary measures being taken by the government. And said . Follow the SOPs. Tourism can be developed even in the Covid environment. Assistant Commissioner Chitral also participated as a guest in the workshop. And Chitral Administration will work to promote healthy tourism, Chitral Tourism Association and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Department. Swear of cooperation assured. He appreciated the traditional hospitality and the peaceful environment of Chitral for tourism.
