No shit, I had seen the other Romanian AK vids, but just logged on hoping to search something on specific history and timelines. This was the first video in my suggested feed, 11 minutes old..... holy shit.... Misha, you are a god

He described the color of magazines, pouches, and furniture like an artist. After about an hour, he has to remind us he never saw any of it. Brilliant man no doubt.

You have my dream spread laid out on the table looking so beautiful lol the only one I am missing is the under folder, but I already got the furniture, and I need to get my front sight brake combo pressed on the sar2. You’ve inspired so much of what I have done with these guns with my love for the Romanian ish! Thank you for bein you brother. I had no idea about finding. Correct furniture for what certain AKM models I might have or accessories and all that good stuff. You got me hip to the mag pouches which now I’m addicted to, and I had to get the mags to fill them up lol you are definitely a huge commodity to the AK community! I really appreciate you and this recap

I love my GP Wasr-10/63. Traded an AR pistol for it and I couldn't be happier. Slapped a Romanian battlefield pick up furniture set on it with a cheese grater upper handguard. Tons of trench art in the stock I got. Also love my Romania M44 mosin carbine. Great video as always

IDK why but I really took a fancy to anything Romanian related gun-wise. My favorite looking AKM is the early Romy PM63 with the hardwood furniture. So classy. I can confirm the wood is European beech. Back in 2018 I bought an Atlantic barreled action built off a PM63 parts kit dated 1966 on the trunnion. Basically I needed to finish assembly but all the gunsmithing was done. I went to great lengths to track down the original Romy hardwood furniture. It's very unique and appears to have the same reddish-brown stain the Romy SKS has (I also have one of these to compare to). After months of hunting, I was able to get the pistol grip, buttstock, and upper handguard. The lower handguard was the hardest to locate (at least at the time) so I settled for a new reproduction from Ironwood designs (I don't think they are still in business but could be wrong). I purchased the handguard in European beech and the wood grain is an exact match to the original furniture. A gentlemen on one of the AK forums told me which stain I could buy at Home Depot to replicate the Romy stain. He was dead on, and after staining, distressing, drilling a drain hole, and installing/fitting/grinding the front reinforcement screw (as seen on original handguards), it's VERY difficult to tell it's not an original. In fact, I will probably stamp 'USA' on it or something so whoever ends up with it after I kick it knows it is not original. I left all of the origjnal parts in their aged state and opted to distress the American receiver and barrel (and other 922r parts) to match. It definitely has the look of a tired but still serviceable Cold War carbine. I love it.

thanks for confirming the wood type. That's something that's not always easy for me to do.

God , the eye candy u post on this channel is so great. The AK platform is the most awesome platform of all time ….I love Romania’s and Poland’s countless versions , The USSR’s number one aid package to every one of its nations and partners was the AK for a reason! The People’s rifle should have replaced the hammer and sickle on the Soviet flag! …..hey quick side note on AK Pistols, What do you think of the SLR106UR converted to an SBR chambered in .223 5.56… by Arsenal I don’t care what anyone says about it not being chambered in 7.62 , ITS STILL AWESOME… they’ve been going up in value lately as well, they were only around the short time before they stopped importing them into the states, I would love to get your input. KEEP UP THE AWESOME CONTENT!

I like the ruff and rugged and scratched up finish of Romanian aks. I dont hate on aks from any countries. Romanian aks are solid well built rifles. I'm not a snob on finishes on any ak it's just the finish.i get a kick out of the people who love to hate on wasr-10s and any Romanian aks. There reason is always that they are junk man they have scratches when they are brand new out the box because they are poorly made. And I tell them if you are actually going to buy guns and use them then who cares if they get scratched up. Unless you are buying guns to put in the safe and only pull them out to show your friends that come over how pretty they are then go for it. But i buy guns to run them and they are going get scratched and beat up. Guns aren't made to sit in a safe and never get fired because you are afraid they will get scratched and beat up. They are tools that are made to be used. So go out and use them stop worrying about a scratch who cares.whats the point in even buying guns if you can't enjoy them because you are worried about getting a little scratch on it.

I've two Romy's, a WASR and a PSL-54R. Both shoot flawlessly and since I bought them 20 years ago, they've appreciated quite a bit in price

Thanks for the refresher on the Romanian pews. Do you know how to figure out what factory markings? Use double letter prefixes. That's how my PM90 is. Also fun fact Bulgarian 74 mags don't fit in the PA86.

Sorta. The N-PAP was imported by Century Arms many years ago and it had some issues with having a weak receiver. The N-PAP is no longer imported however you can get a Z-PAP from Zastava USA which is the same gun but higher quality and Directly from the Manufacturer via Imports.
