Is there any licensed wireless controller for Xbox at all? I'm asking this because every single licensed controller I know for Xbox is wired (I mean, at least those released by 8BitDo and Gamesir). So, I don't think it's up to them.
@@vhsodre Just the scuf instinct pro. And judging by the $50+ price difference with that and their pc only envision pro version. There's probably a good indicator of what xbox is charging for license fees for their Xbox Wireless Wi-Fi Direct protocol drivers. There's also the turtle beach stealth ultra at $200+ ... so could also be M$ only licenses to products out of their own products price brackets. I'd bet both, cause they really have no reason not to be a-holes about it.
i had the xbox elite controller, returned it and got now the g7se and im in love with it. i can take up faceplate and use higher thumbsticks without buying kontrollfreeks and 1000hz is great❤
every single controller ive owned with trigger stops has broken, im fine with gamersir having no trigger stops but make the distance shorter so i dont break custom trigger stops like the other custom trigger controllers
Obvious answer, G7 se is Good, but Kalied flux has better quality material and the design is beautiful. Both controllers are good, your good with any of them.
The T4 Kalied is best for PC! These two in the video are made for Xbox, so unless you own the console, you'll have better luck with the *T4* version. (The fully clear one)
Old potentiometer controllers are not it anymore. I have two G7s and a Kaleid. Been on controller since NES days, and I get called a cheater for dialing these in. BEST TIP after many hours and different thumbsticks, is to find your thumbstick deadzone out of box in game. You will be surprised. I have my settings dialed in from every aspect and slam people. Therse are worth the money and my daily drivers. I will shmelt someone on the $400 Scuf controller.

Nice review! Prob gonna pick up the kaleid since my elite s2 just took a dump! GAMESIR: please make us a controller with tactile all around , 1000hz, clicky triggers/stops and back buttons !
T4K Kaleid is one of my favourite gamepads for PC right after the original XBOX series gamepad, so I decided to get this Kaleid version for XBOX mostly because of the blacked out look and trigger vibration. It just arrived and I gotta say I love it, but it's not without its issues...Right away so far, we're not even able to remap the middle 'Share' button in the software like we could in the T4K. I feel like they really should add this as an option if using with PC via their Gamesir Nexus app. 2nd issue is with trigger rumble - turns out that it is one of the features that gets disabled at 1000 Hz polling rate, while only the audio jack problem is mentioned in the Nexus app. Currently everything works as it should at 500 Hz though, and I don't mind since I mostly use gamepads for racing
Ive received mine couple of days ago and love it! Thinking about buying another one. There is only one thing which is kinda odd to me..if I connect the controller to my Xbox Series X using a usb 3.0 extension cable the controller wont work. On PC it aint an issue at all. Heck, its right now connected to an USB-hub which is connected to my pc using same cable I used for the Xbox...LMAO On Xbox need to plug it in directly. Works like a charm then though so it aint a big deal but odd..lol
The only gripe I have with the Kaelid is the 3.5mm jack is not up to par nowadays. It causes all analog headsets to be much lower in volume when connected as opposed a elite series 2.
From what I have seen from Gamesir they seem to be going for more of an affordable price route with their controllers but I wish they made one of these more of a 'Pro' version with trigger stops etc. I have the Gamesir G7 SE and I contacted Gamesir because I want it in black and they said they had no plans and now I think It's because these were coming out.
@@PughsReview Yeah I know but the face plate options suck and the back is still white. I asked them to release face plates in standard colours like red, blue, black etc but they said they had no plans to.
hey bro i wonder something i have the kaleid and g7 se kaleid arrive just a few days ago, after i try it have a bad point justonly one and its microswitch dpad for fighting games, it is really hard to do combos, with g7 se is so easy.. but let me tell you what is good bc is a lot.. 1000hz native windows 10 500 hz with audio vibration feels much more stronger and deep even in level 3 it is better than the g7 se in level 4.. RGB for more fps :v i think im gonna sell this kaleid and buy the flux one bc i think is just the same but with membrane, doesnt it?
I have tried all gamesir gamepads and I had soo many issues with tactile buttons mostly the button double the action or the press. Also tactile is way to noisey and slower performance and less efficient.
Meant no disrespect mate, But its opinions, in my opinion flux is beautiful and the touch feels way better than original xbox controller, plus hall effect on both trigers and joysticks and way less noisy. I said kid taste because kids usually like things clicky and noisy buttons, like i said i meant no disrecpect and it was not about your person, and yes to your opinion. Because this is my first video of yours, and i got my flux recenlty. Ive putted my original xbox controller on sale, i dont need him anymore, Ps5 original controller has less drift than original Xbox series.
Good review! I've just purchased the Kaleid black version, and it's connected to my PC. One thing I notice is that the Xbox power button in the middle doesn't actually switch on the controller. The only way to switch on the controller from sleep is to unplug and plug it back in. Does anyone else experience this, or is it defective? Otherwise, it's a fantastic controller for the price point!
I have been looking at this controller for a while. The HALL effect and 1000hz being the major draw. For fifty buck I am willing to take a punt, mainly as an alternative to Elite 2 which for the price I paid has been underwhelming to say the least. I would be happy if GameSir offered a wireless option. The extra back buttons isn't a huge deals as before the elite 2 I used a turtle beach with only two in back. I do agree though that it is time for them to step to the plate with a high end, wireless 'elite' style control. Because the HALL and polling features can't be ignored. I would also say this for 8bitDo controllers too. Thus the logical next step of of controller evolution.
I almost ordered a G7 SE but noticed Kaleid in other products from this seller. I came here to learn what the hell it is, and boy, am I glad I did. It basically fixed all the issues/worries I had about G7 SE: didn't like how G7 SE looks and also wished it had tac buttons. Honestly Kaleid looks better than my current controllers lol Thanks for the review!
Just tear them down, t4k and flux both dpad have the same type of button micro switch like on the xbox but gamesir like to put a thick rubber layer on top of them. The same thing with the face button, micro switch underneath+thick rubber layer on top. Because of that rubber layer all the the advantage of micro switches are gone, pretty dumb of gamesir to do that.
The reason GameSir removed 1000Hz is because Microsoft ordered them to remove it, as they said it offered an unfair advantage. However the polling rate argument for Xbox at least is flat out false, DLI on the Xbox console side hard caps all inputs to a maximum functional polling rate of 125Hz. ANY positive difference over the OEM controller, is simply an improvement in overall polling consistency. Microsoft just aren't as stringent at ensuring all their controllers hold 125Hz constantly. (more of a ballpark than hard rule) All controllers fluctuate but the higher the polling rate on the peripheral side is the less often it will fall below 125Hz cap, therefore improving measured averages and perceived responsiveness. NEVER have we actually experienced above 125Hz on Xbox with ANY controller or any other peripheral and unless Microsoft increases or removes the DLI polling cap limit we never will. All you need to do to see this is plug into a PC, load any game you also have on Xbox, Lock the framerate and set resolution to match the console version: Instantly even at only 250Hz the difference is NIGHT AND DAY, 500Hz and 1000Hz are INSANE. (I have tested this on 2 G7 SE's, and a gaming keyboard and mouse)
@@PughsReview Just noticed it more in your facial features out of everything. Hey, I want to know if they have weighted rt, lt, buttons like the dual sense 5 controller and vibrations. I like to feel the weight of the gun like the ps5 offers. I can’t decide which one on the color to get. I use just a standard Xbox series x controller in black, and don’t understand all of this. I do plan on playing call of duty black ops 6 and need a perfect controller for that, but can you help me out?
If you mean hapic feedback no this dosent have it no xbox controller has this for xbox if you on pc then check my apex 4 review out that a sweet controller and has that.
Had 2 Gamesir Xbox Controllers in use for like a year. And both, the G7SE and the normal G7 have the same problem now. I think the cause is the USB-port at the back. Both are getting disconnected A LOT for me to point were im not able to play.
@@I3ammy i dont't play fps games with controller, those are for mouse and keyboard. Ride and Motogp Games give trigger feedback so you know when you are on the limit.
@@PughsReview I’ve tried to update the controller but there isn’t any report rate for the kalied at least not yet people are saying the update will come soon. As far as the app goes I have no idea how to update the app itself but there isn’t any new updates for the controller on the app itself.
I have the Kalied controller aswell. The report rate option should be in the app, the Gamesir Nexus app. Downloaded from Microsoft Store. Updated the controller firmware with the app, from 1.47 to 1.49 and I could set it at 500 or 1000 mhz or leave it at 250. Perhaps you are trying it with the other Gamesir app for the T4 kaleid ? I mean, if on my end it works as intended, it should be same for you. Hope it helps.
Doood i need help. Hahaha have you gotten your hands on the new 8bitdo wutimate wired c? $35 on Amazon. I gave gotten the usb mic to work on it but it makes the party hear their own echo. The astro a10 works smoothly though. Do you have any suggestions?
Exact setup is New ultimate wired c xbox Fifine am8 Kingtop splitter 2' 2 ring aux Design ground loop isolator. It works and works well but the party hears themselves somehow. Yesterday it was doing it with both the headset and mic set up but fid the firm ware update now it works with the headset but still gives party an echo
To need honest I have played with any 8bitdo in a while but have heard of the issue. I would try unplugging the controller and plugging in back in to start and just kind of experiment with that on the cables mic ect try adjust mic volume as well. I haven't ran into this issue while testing so I can't really tell you a exact fix. If you find a solution on it though plz let me know I'll pass it along to other to help help.
@PughsReview thank you for the prompt response. I'll give a couple more cables I have on hand a try but if I can't get it I think im just gonna grab the board and an xlr cable. I got my personal setup thanks to your recommendation and I use it to stream but this is a secondary set up fir my wife so she sounds high quality since if I'm live she is also in the party/chat
Bummer too because the boards were on sale last week black was 37.99 so i got myself that and white was 40.99 I shoild grabbed ot for her while I got mine haha
