Damn! I'm 69 years old now, and this sounds great to me. I could almost see Dwight Yoakam doing this in concert. That Tele the lead guy is playing has some real Country character in its sound. I'm kind of stunned and amazed. Listening again to this here in Dec 2022, and I noticed other things going on in that mix. That Les Paul rhythm guitar has that nice, fat bottom sound to contrast that that Tele spank. This song just flat works.

That's how you wind up owning 12 guitars and are still looking for that resonator you've always wanted. Musicians refer to this as having GAS... or Gear Acquisition Syndrome. ;--)
